I take my elderly cat, who has rarely ever been outside my home, to this clinic and she is very comfortable there. I love checking in from the parking lot. I have never waited more than a few moments for my appointment. We are escorted straight from our car to the exam room. The doctor and the staff are very nice and always give options for care and pricing up front to make decisions about care for my cat easy. I highly recommend this vet clinic

We brought our cairn terrier in for a checkup and rx for Simparica Trio. Dr. Ebling and his staff are all so wonderful. Our dog tends to get a bit nervous at the vet and they were so patient with her. They have great curbside services so that you don't have to sit in a waiting area with a bunch of pets (can cause some pets anxiety). Overall, I found the pricing to be fair and the option of using CareCredit for expensive visits, as a great feature. I highly recommend East Lansing Veterinary Clinic!

I can’t say enough good things about East Lansing Veterinary Clinic. The staff here is incredibly kind, patient, and truly cares about both pets and their owners. They take the time to explain everything in real terms, so you always understand your options without feeling overwhelmed. Unlike some places that push unnecessary treatments, they focus on what’s best for your pet’s health and well-being. It’s clear they prioritize honesty and quality care over sales. I always leave feeling confident that my pet is in great hands. Highly recommend!

I have been coming to East Lansing Veterinary Clinic since 2012, when I saw Dr. Mortimer for a second opinion for my black Labrador, Zeus. Thank goodness I did. My previous vet had lazily diagnosed Zeus with hip displasia...without even taking an X-ray. It was just assumed because he was a big 13-year old Labrador. Dr. Mortimer's X-ray showed Zeus actually had perfect hips, but what he did have was GOLPP. I had about 6 weeks left with Zeus. Dr. Mortimer walked me through every step...and I was fully prepared when I needed to make the awful decision to let my fur baby go. About 18 months later, I was back with my new black beauty, Bert. Once again, I came across a very rare disease. This time it was SLO. Dr. Beach new immediately what it was and began a protocol to keep Bert as healthy and active as possible. And he had a great life. Bert was a week from 12, when Dr. Mortimer found the hemangiosarcoma. UGH...nothing could be done to save my boy, but Dr. Mortimer and everyone at ELVC was so incredibly supportive and understanding. So, here I am once again...9 month later with my third black Labrador, Kona. It was a no brainer as to where I was going to be going for veterinary care. I am so grateful for Dr. Mortimer and everyone at East Lansing Veterinary Clinic.

This is the first time my four legged love has been so happy to visit her vet!!!! She is 10 and shows no fear or resistance!! To me, that says it all. Dr. Howe is so kind and gentle and thorough and he communicates everything he has done and what he recommends. The staff is friendly and happy to see their patients!
