East Lake Animal Clinic

We made the switch to East Lake Animal Clinic last year as our last vet was too far away. The staff at East Lake is phenomenal. They are easy to get a hold of when I have a question. My dog enjoys going because she knows she is getting so much love.

Incredibly kind and compassionate staff here. And they leave appointments open for emergencies, which is always so good to know (and we’ve had to use that a couple times). Most importantly, our dog loves to visit! :)

We've had only exceptional care from the staff and vets at East Lake Animal Clinic. They've been very thorough and attentive to each of our cats, whether for regular checkups or getting something checked out. The vets have been great about providing contextual information about the visit and the cats' health throughout the visit, and the front desk staff are so nice and have always called to make sure the cats are doing well after their visits. Would definitely recommend!

East Lake Animal clinic is a great place to bring your furry family members for their medical needs. The staff is very friendly and always helpful when asked questions. I bring my 2 cats here and am always satisfied with the care they receive. Thanks again everyone at ELAC 😻

I had to put my cat down this morning. The doctor and staff were exceptional! They made me feel comfortable and I feel so much better because of them ! Highly recommended!

Since 2019, East Lake Animal Clinic and my family of two (formerly 3) pups have shared annual wellness visits, emergency surgery, and the painful experience of euthanasia along with multiple open discussions on how to proceed forward through behavior changes, skin and digestive issues. This ongoing dialogue is a testament to the daily dedication that all of their Staff bring to the animals companions in their care.

3/11/25 Update Things have gotten significantly better since my last review and our experience with the doctors has improved. Original review: I've been bringing my pets here for about nine years now, and I am so-so on this place. I think the backroom staff and front desk team is fantastic and so caring about my pets--I cannot recommend working with that team enough. Frankly, this place needs more staff and probably needs to expand their facility. I often call and no one answers, so I have to resort to sending an email which often, understandably, takes hours to get a response for. I genuinely feel their front desk staff is way overworked and they need more help. This team constantly goes above and beyond for me and my family and I cannot recommend working with that team enough. Truly a great bunch. Unfortunately, I do not have the same feeling towards the ownership/our veterinarian. I've only seen two of the three main doctors (both of the owners), but I rarely leave feeling that my pet's issue was deeply considered. It often feels that they are just throwing things at the wall to see what sticks. In the end this is a bad experience for my pet and frankly for my wallet. In the end, I will return strictly out of convenience. If there was another vet clinic within walking distance of my house, I would absolutely give them a try because most visits here leave me wanting better, more thorough care for my pets.
