Dr. Pendry and her team are truly amazing. I travel a lot for work and anytime I am in a smaller town, I worry about what I would do in an emergency if my little one needs care. I am so grateful for this hospital. Dr. Pendry is one of the kindest, most sincere doctors I have ever met. Her team likewise is incredible (extra special shout out to Angela). Not only is the team skilled and efficient but they take the time to educate - something I am also very passionate about. Costs is always a concern but I was pleasantly surprised at how affordable things were here. I come from Colorado where even “routine” visits can run over $400. This place has all the bells and whistles of a major metropolitan hospital with a like-family true southern hospitality staff.

I got home today after work and checked the mail for my packages, I didn't expect this at all!!! I ugly cried right in the front yard I am truly grateful we chose them! This was unexpected and so thoughtful, thank you guys so much for taking time and making these for us!
Apr 21, 2025 · Bailey StrongStaff is super friendly and informative! Anything emergency comes with a high price tag but my bill was reasonable for what was done. Super nice to have a place locally and not have to travel to VA!
Nov 22, 2024 · Joe MusicoEast Carolina Animal Emergency is worth 5+ stars. The entire staff was very professional, efficient and accommodating from beginning to end. They understood the panic we felt in having to bring Rocky to them while on vacation and they were compassionate and comforting. Dr. Pendry agreed to see Rocky at a time that was close to their closing time. The tests and procedure took longer than expected but no one appeared to care. We all know what it’s like to have to stay late at work. We had to return to the clinic and we were treated like old friends. I highly recommend ECAEmergency for the best treatment for your pet. I only wish Dr. Pendry we’re available to be Rocky’s veterinarian here in Michigan.
