I took my rescue cat, Cookie, for her first visit with Duarte Azusa Animal Hospital on October 12, 2024. We are fairly new to the area and it has taken me some time to sort through family referrals and choose a new vet for my fluff. I was impressed by the front staff - including the resident cats! - who were kind and efficient. Dr. Z listened to my concerns and put Cookie through a preliminary exam. A staff member thoroughly explained the detailed estimate of charges. I had an opportunity to ask questions and to decline services if I wished to do so. After our appointment, my cat was calm and quiet, not stressed or fearful. This tells me that the care she received out of my view must have been gentle and professional. I look forward to a long and satisfying relationship with Duarte Azusa Animal Hospital.

Took my puppy for her annual shots. Open late, very helpful and no pressure. Will be back for other services. Very popular with people in and out but organized. Timely manner.

Terrible service. Made scheduling a lunch with the team extremely difficult and disorganized with management. Tried to get on the phone with Dr. Zee for my dog and front desk was super rude and ended my call.

My 15 year old female cat passed away in January 2025. She had diabetes and was diagnosed in 2020 I had no hope for her until Dr Z came along. Her name was Millie. Doctor Z kept her alive for an extra 5 years. With the treatments she lived a blessed life. I will forever be grateful to Duarte Azusa Animal Hospital. The staff was wonderful and took care of my Millie. Many thanks to the staff and Dr Z!

I walked in with an early morning appointment that I made weeks ago and was given a form to fill out, but absolutely no indication on when I would be helped. After waiting 20 minutes, I asked how long it would be and was told another 30 minutes because of the walk-ins before me. What is the point of an appointment if I have to wait almost an hour before I'm even seen? I understand this is a common occurrence with vets but I saw the positive reviews on this place and thought it would be different. Workers were not rude, but aloof and absolutely no help when it comes to communicating with the customers.
