We've been trusting Dr. Drennan and his staff for around three years with our two dogs. Unfortunately, we had to make the impossible decision to say goodbye to one of our dogs unexpectedly. I couldn't speak more highly of Dr. Drennan and his staff for how they tried everything in their power to figure out what was wrong and then helped my family make the most impossible decision without pushing us a certain direction. No one wants to say goodbye but the care and kindness of his staff helped us through a difficult time. I'd recommend this office to anyone and everyone. Thank you to the staff and everyone involved in helping our boy in his final days.

Drennan Animal Hospital Introduce
Welcome to the introduction of Drennan Animal Hospital, located at 1890 N Germantown Pkwy, Cordova, TN 38016, USA. As a Pet Hospital serving the Cordova community, Drennan Animal Hospital offers veterinary care for your beloved animal companions. You can reach them at (901) 756-5556 or their mobile number +1 901-756-5556 to inquire about their services.
As a member of the Pet Hospital category, Drennan Animal Hospital likely provides a range of medical services for pets. While specific details about the hospital's environment are not extensively described in the provided reviews, typical animal hospitals offer examination rooms, treatment areas, and possibly surgical and recovery spaces to cater to the health needs of animals. The positive review highlights Dr. Drennan and his staff's efforts in diagnosing and treating a seriously ill pet, suggesting the presence of necessary medical equipment and facilities for such care. However, the negative review points to potential inconsistencies in the overall environment, particularly concerning interactions with some staff members.
Based on the available customer feedback, the services offered at Drennan Animal Hospital appear to include diagnostics, treatment for illnesses, and end-of-life care. One positive review specifically mentions the staff's efforts to diagnose a pet's condition and their compassionate support during a difficult decision regarding euthanasia. This suggests that the hospital provides services beyond routine check-ups and vaccinations, extending to more complex medical situations and sensitive care. Conversely, the negative review does not detail the specific veterinary services received but focuses on issues related to staff conduct and communication, implying that while medical care might be provided, the overall experience can be significantly impacted by non-medical factors.
A notable feature of Drennan Animal Hospital, as highlighted by one customer, is the compassionate and supportive approach of Dr. Drennan and his staff, particularly during emotionally challenging times such as the loss of a pet. The reviewer expressed high regard for their efforts in diagnosis and their sensitivity in guiding the family through a difficult decision. This suggests that a key feature of the practice, at least under Dr. Drennan's care, is a focus on empathy and understanding towards pet owners. However, this positive aspect is contrasted by another review detailing experiences with a "rude and unprofessional" other vet in the practice and a "new front desk person" who allegedly failed to disclose important information, leading to frustration and a decision to seek care elsewhere. This indicates a potential inconsistency in the quality of staff interactions and professionalism within the hospital.
The conflicting reviews present a mixed picture for potential local users. The positive review serves as a strong endorsement of Dr. Drennan's care and the support provided during a sensitive time. It emphasizes the staff's willingness to "try everything" and their kindness in handling a difficult situation. This could be a significant factor for pet owners seeking a compassionate and understanding veterinary team. However, the negative review raises serious concerns about the professionalism and communication of other staff members, including another veterinarian and a new front desk person. Allegations of rudeness, aggressive behavior, and failure to disclose crucial information are significant red flags that potential clients should consider. The detailed rebuttal from the dissatisfied customer further reinforces these negative experiences, highlighting issues with communication and perceived unprofessionalism in the hospital's response.
Currently, there is no promotional information available for Drennan Animal Hospital in the provided text. Pet hospitals sometimes offer introductory discounts for new clients, seasonal specials, or packages for routine services. However, without any mention of such promotions in the reviews, we cannot provide any details on this aspect. Local users interested in potential promotions should contact the hospital directly or check their website or social media if available.
In conclusion, Drennan Animal Hospital in Cordova, TN, presents a complex picture based on the limited customer feedback. While one reviewer praises Dr. Drennan and his staff for their compassionate care and support during a difficult time, another details significant negative experiences with another veterinarian and a front desk staff member, citing rudeness, unprofessionalism, and communication issues. These conflicting accounts suggest potential inconsistencies in the overall patient experience at this Pet Hospital. Local users should weigh these contrasting perspectives when considering Drennan Animal Hospital for their pet's care. It may be beneficial to seek further information or potentially speak directly with the hospital to address any concerns arising from the negative feedback. The positive review highlights a strength in compassionate end-of-life care, while the negative review underscores potential weaknesses in staff professionalism and communication that could impact the overall client experience.

Nov 14, 2024 · Katherine SamAs of today I will no longer take my fur kids to Drennan Animal Hospital. Although I like Dr. Drennan and care he has provided, the other Vet in the practice is rude and unprofessional. Not to mention the new front desk person who did not disclose important information over the phone not once but twice. I took time away from my job, showed up in the window of time given to learn the nondisclosed information this morning. This was the first time I have been given this information and none of the previous times I have been there was this ever an issue. The rude VET came out to address me. Now I was upset and frustrated so instead of approaching me to defuse the issue she was aggressive. The new front desk person was equally rude and aggressive in tone. When pushed to make a decision, I expressed I am processing what I need to do, the rude vet continued to push. I told her there is no mistaken she is rude and not a nice person. The new front desk person told me I was disrespectful. Keep in mind over the pass few years I have spent a lot for the care and treatment of my fur kids. I made the decision NOT to leave my pet in their care, left and found somewhere provide professional and compassionate care. My records are being requested by my new vet. My advice to Drennan Animal Hospital is hire people with compassion, without hostile anger issues and who appreciates their clientele no matter how much they spend. Responding to the reply: I never cussed anyone. I said in my review I was upset. I had two calls with the incompetent new hire The day prior who asked about the vaccines and I gave her the correct information. She never said anything about not being able to leave my pet only to be there within the time allotted. Then I received a confirmation call and no mention of a problem with the vaccines not being able to drop off. Furthermore professionalism is lacking. Compassion is questionable with the staff and female vet. And their reply sums up the lack of intelligence and professionalism. This platform is to inform and not act as high school student.
Sep 19, 2024 · G S10/10 service, at drennan’s animal hospital I felt welcome and feel like I was in good hands. The staff is professional and super friendly. When dr drennan & Bethany had my fur baby in their hands I felt like I wouldn’t Trust anyone else but them. My baby received the best care not only as a patient but as if it was one of their own, with love and professionalism . Thank you so much to dr drennan and all his staff y’all are the the best #1
Sep 30, 2024 · Ray’s LifeI was referred to this vet by someone who’s been a member for over 20 years. I was told that I had to make a deposit of $50 to make an appointment. Never was I told that it was a non refundable deposit. The receptionist set me an appointment for me to drop off my puppy. I’m guessing she’s new so she wasn’t aware puppies couldn’t be dropped off. She called back letting me know that they aren’t able to do drop offs for puppies. I completely understood and we hung up the phone. The next day I called asking for my deposit back because it was never mentioned when we spoke the day before. She insisted on scheduling me another appointment for a later date after I had already asked for my deposit back but keep in mind she still never once told me it was non refundable. I called back the next day trying to cancel the appointment and get my deposit back because I found a family for the puppy and they were going to take care of all of the medical stuff for the puppy and I was told I wouldn’t be able to get my deposit back. I’m just here to say that $50 is not chump change and it should be said before scheduling someone an appointment making them aware that it is non refundable. They all were nice and respectful people though. It just kind of pissed me off when I was told I couldn’t get my money back 4 days before the scheduled appointment without even being made aware of their policy.
Feb 08, 2024 · Jed HowellThis animal hospital is one of the most kind, compassionate, and helpful animal hospital’s my family has ever used. We live close to this facility and used them in an emergency situation, and I cannot say enough how wonderful the staff was with my family and our beloved Dwight. Though we will continue to grieve our loss, we will always be grateful for Drennen Animal Hospital for their professional assistance and compassion.
