Did not diagnose our dog correctly. Despite our repeatedly saying our dog was worse when we went to pick him up, we were pretty much told we had to take him home and he would be just fine. Our dog died in our car on the way home about 10 minutes later. Upon getting his test results and X-rays, we sought a second opinion and were told our original vet blatantly missed crucial information with the results and our dog could have been treated/saved. Check in tech, Dr on duty and tech who released our dog to us were negligent in the duties that day.

As a pet hospital, Dr. Scott Hachting's practice likely provides a range of services aimed at maintaining and improving the health of companion animals, primarily dogs and cats. These services typically include preventative care such as vaccinations and parasite control, routine check-ups, diagnostic procedures to identify illnesses, medical treatments for various conditions, and potentially surgical interventions. The specific scope of services offered can be confirmed by contacting the clinic directly.

Based on the limited information available from customer reviews, there are contrasting experiences. One review expresses strong dissatisfaction and recounts a tragic incident where the reviewer's dog passed away shortly after being discharged, alleging misdiagnosis and negligence. This review indicates a critical failure in the standard of care provided on a particular occasion, raising serious concerns about diagnostic accuracy and patient management in that instance. The reviewer specifically mentions the check-in technician, the on-duty doctor, and the technician who released their dog as being negligent in their duties that day.

In contrast, another customer offers a highly positive review, stating their love for the group and highlighting that they "go above and beyond" for their animals. This reviewer specifically praises Dr. Hachting and Dr. Schulte as being "very smart" and expresses confidence in their animals being in good hands. This positive feedback suggests that some clients have experienced excellent care and have a high level of trust in the veterinary team, particularly mentioning the expertise of Dr. Hachting and Dr. Schulte.

Given these divergent opinions, it is challenging to provide a definitive assessment of the environment and typical service quality at Dr. Scott Hachting's practice based solely on these two reviews. The negative review raises significant concerns that potential clients should be aware of and may want to discuss further with the clinic. It points to a critical incident with severe consequences. The positive review, on the other hand, indicates that many clients have had favorable experiences and trust the expertise of the veterinarians.

Features of the practice would likely include the professional expertise of the veterinarians and the support staff, the availability of diagnostic and treatment equipment necessary for providing veterinary care, and the overall approach to animal health and well-being. Dr. Hachting and Dr. Schulte are specifically mentioned as knowledgeable veterinarians. However, the conflicting reviews make it difficult to definitively characterize the consistent features of the practice without more comprehensive and balanced feedback.

Currently, there is no promotional information available in the provided text. Pet hospitals often offer promotions for services like vaccinations, dental cleanings, or new client specials. To learn about any current promotions at Dr. Scott Hachting's practice, it is best to contact them directly via phone.

In summary, Dr. Scott Hachting's pet hospital in O'Fallon, MO, provides veterinary care services to the local community. Customer reviews present a mixed picture, with one review detailing a deeply negative experience involving alleged misdiagnosis and negligence leading to the death of a pet, while another praises the intelligence and dedication of Dr. Hachting and Dr. Schulte. Potential clients are advised to consider these contrasting experiences and to conduct their own due diligence, which may include contacting the clinic directly to discuss their pet's needs and to inquire about their protocols and standards of care. Further information or more balanced feedback would be necessary to provide a more comprehensive and objective introduction to this veterinary practice.
