**NEEDS A MORE PROFESSIONAL RECEPTIONIST** I used to take my dog to Dr Bruketta years ago, along with several other people I know. He is a wonderful doctor. But I just got back from living out of state for the past 7 years and my cat needs a vet visit so his office was the first place I called. When she answered I asked if Dr Bruketta was still there and she responded ...um yea... in a tone like I was an idiot for even asking that. Then I asked if they still accept walk-ins and she hesitated again with that same tone, I'm guessing because they are close to closing. I quickly added I wasn't trying to come in today and she gave me their hours. After that, I asked her if she thought I would be able to come in tomorrow and if they were going to be busy. This lady started laughing at me like she thought I was a damn comedian and, still managing to keep that snotty tone, said ...I don't know! Tomorrow isn't even here yet!... I just hung up since she was still too busy laughing to hear me anyway. I guess she doesn't get to make too many of those things they call "appointments" with that award winning attitude she's got. I assumed since most people get paid on Thursday or Friday that he might just have several appointments and I might need to make one myself. But I'm sure he's not the only good vet around west Tennessee so I will find somewhere else to go. But I will make sure to share my experience with my friends and family when I ask for Facebook suggestions.

Based on the limited information available, primarily the address and contact details, we can infer that Dr. Mark Bruketta, DVM operates a physical clinic in Trenton. Typically, a pet hospital environment is designed to be welcoming and comfortable for both pets and their owners. This includes examination rooms for consultations, treatment areas for medical procedures, and potentially surgical suites for more complex interventions. Depending on the size and scope of the practice, there might also be boarding facilities for animals requiring overnight or extended stays, as well as areas for diagnostic imaging like X-rays or ultrasound.
The services offered at a Pet Hospital like Dr. Mark Bruketta, DVM generally encompass a wide spectrum of veterinary care. These often include routine check-ups and vaccinations to prevent common diseases. Preventative care is a cornerstone of animal health, ensuring pets are protected against potentially serious illnesses. Additionally, the clinic likely provides diagnostic services to identify the cause of any health issues your pet may be experiencing. This could involve physical examinations, laboratory tests (such as blood work, urine analysis, and fecal exams), and imaging techniques.
When a pet falls ill or gets injured, a Pet Hospital is equipped to provide medical treatment. This can range from administering medications and fluids to performing minor surgical procedures. For more complex surgical cases, some clinics may have specialized surgeons on staff or refer patients to specialized facilities. Dental care is another crucial service offered by many veterinary practices, including teeth cleaning, extractions, and treatment of dental diseases, which are vital for a pet's overall health.
Furthermore, Dr. Mark Bruketta, DVM, as a local Pet Hospital, likely offers services related to animal welfare, such as microchipping for identification in case a pet gets lost, and counseling on nutrition and behavioral issues. Nutritional guidance is important for maintaining a healthy weight and preventing diet-related illnesses, while behavioral advice can help owners address common problems like anxiety or aggression.
Features of a Pet Hospital can vary. Some may offer emergency services during or outside of regular hours, which is a significant benefit for pet owners facing urgent health situations. Others might have specialized equipment for advanced diagnostics or treatments. The presence of experienced and compassionate veterinary staff, including registered veterinary technicians and support personnel, is also a key feature that contributes to the quality of care.

It is crucial for any service-oriented business, including a Pet Hospital, to ensure that all staff members provide a positive and helpful experience for clients. The receptionist often serves as the first point of contact, and their demeanor can significantly influence a client's impression of the entire establishment. Addressing concerns related to customer service is vital for maintaining a positive reputation and ensuring client satisfaction.
Despite the negative feedback regarding the receptionist, the reviews do praise Dr. Bruketta's skills as a veterinarian. This suggests that the quality of medical care provided by Dr. Bruketta may be a significant strength of the practice.
