My cat was going to get spayed but reacted to the anesthetic and died. They had tested her for FIV and she came back positive but they did not tell us this before they started trying to operate. If they told us she had FIV we would have held off on the operation until she had put on some more weight and been on FIV treatment for a bit. Instead we were unable to make the best informed decision for our pet because they did not keep us up to date. I am very dissappointed and upset. Rest in peace Penelope

It is important to acknowledge that while many reviews are overwhelmingly positive, a specific review details a tragic incident involving a cat's reaction to anesthetic and subsequent death. This feedback underscores the critical importance of clear, timely, and comprehensive communication between veterinary staff and pet owners, especially when dealing with complex medical conditions and critical decisions about a pet's health. While individual outcomes can vary and medical procedures carry inherent risks, transparent communication allows pet owners to make the most informed decisions for their beloved companions.

I've been going to the Animal Hospital for years and have always found the doctors and staff to be very kind and friendly. I also take my little guy Cooper there to be groomed by Miss Linda. He loves her and practically pulls me in the door. I had to have one of my cats euthanized and I was devastated. I chose to stay with her during the process and they gave me private time with her afterward. I was a mess and they helped me out to the car with her and never asked for payment. They sent a sympathy card a few days later. I will never forget their kindness. The office staff is exceptional!

One star for the kind receptionist. I took my cat for a common procedure. Paid $289.00 for the following: They sedated him then put him on gas. Once on the gas he stopped breathing. They had to resuscitate him. I was called. They said they wanted to keep him for observation. They ran a full blood panel and said he wasn't sick or having any breathing issues when they sedated him and all of his bloodwork came back perfect. Yet, they sent him home with me on antibiotics? They kept him for two days +/- for three days following the incident my cat had no control of his bodily functions, did not recognize me, could barely walk after 48 hours, and was constantly running into walls and furniture. I continued the antibiotic even though he had no sickness. He is better now, but I will not go back. They could never tell me exactly if it was the sedation or the gas that he reacted to but with this review you can decide for yourself. The total charge for this nightmare was nearly $300 and no surgical procedure was performed. I have had ragdoll cats for nearly 30 years and this has never happened. I did ask them to review the records to evaluate the amount of sedation they gave him but you know how that works...
