Dr Jennifer Hillegas is the reason I travel 16 miles from home to have my Portuguese Water Dogs medically cared for. She is knowledgeable, interesting in her explanations, interested in what you think, and always seems up to speed on recent research studies. Some vets are good technicians, others good researchers, and others simply have a knack warming to animals; Dr Hillegas is ALL of those and more. She will meet you where you are, as a pet own, she will tell you why she thinks something is a good or a bad idea. Dr Hillegas is intelligent and genuine, and we are fortunate to have met her right after our first vet moved. WELL WORTH THE TRIP!! Thank you Jennifer Hillegas!!

DR. Hillegas is one of the best,caring,kind,knowledgable vet I have know in my 50 and more years of having dogs from Great Dane to Cocker Spaniel. My best friend Heidi a beautiful registered Doberman was a patient from 6 weeks till the rainbow and all persons involved at the Blue Cross Animal Hospital made me feel like I could go on. Bless all from secretaries up to the top. Dr. Hillegas even came to my home when Heidi needed her and I was housebound. Ps. Drs. ALL of them are great!🐾🐾
