The staff is great, we have brought 3 of our dogs here for multiple reasons. One for parvo, one for end of life care and decisions , and now our new pups general health care. When I lost my dog in December the staff got me in immediately no appt needed to see a vet to help us rule out our choices. They were not pushy and gave me every possible option and piece of mind in helping make the overall best choice for Tripp. They sent our family a very sweet card after loosing him. Now that I have another puppy I decided to continue using Dixie for her care. Let me just say they LOVE my Ellie girl. They literally get in her crate when she is boarded and lay with her and give her love. Pricing is fair but quality of care of top dollar. I make the drive from hillview to just keep her with such a great team.

Despite having to drive 45 minutes each way, the level of expertise, compassion, and dedication we receive is well worth the trip every time. We have tried vets closer to our home but always return to Dixie! Dr. Bobb, Dr. Bachmann and the entire team go above and beyond to ensure our pets receive the best possible care. They take the time to explain everything thoroughly, treat our animals like their own, and provide exceptional service with kindness and professionalism. i love shively animal hospital N ty them for making it affordable to care for our fur babies! yes soemtimes u gotta wait, but does that matter? i normally go sign in and wait for return call, but however as of todays date they now have an app where u can request appointments. what an upgrade, so glad i bring my babies here bc their the best in my opinion.

This has been my vet for my babies since 2006, when I moved to the area. The doctors and the staff are so caring. You can definitely tell they love animals and love their jobs. They even did a payment plan when I had an unusually high bill because of a scary but treatable illness my fur baby had. I do not mind paying a little more than other vets for the care and compassion my babies get at Dixie Animal Hospital.

I was here 3/28/25 for a appointment with my dog to get him some more medication this was our first appointment at this facility and unfortunately my dog passed on the way there, the team here was amazing from the moment I walked in with quick reactions and genuine sympathy. I 100% recommend this place to anyone
