Been coming here to see Dr Nichols for over two years. Just now we spent 30 minutes asking Dr Nichols tons of questions about our senior dog, Pickles, and how we best care for her. Dr. Nichols always takes time to think things through and explain options and recommendations. Great vet!

I love love love District Veterinary hospital! They have the loveliest staff - vets, technicians, front desk - everyone. They're easy to book with, partly because I have had such a great experience with each of the veterinarians I have interacted with, so I am happy to take the first available appointment instead of having to work around one doctor's schedule. I've taken multiple pets there over the past decade and highly recommend them to anyone. My husband and I were devastated when we had to put our dog down two years ago, and the staff were honestly perfect. Even in the moment (between tears) we were still like, "wow, everyone here is doing an amazing job with this." Huge gratitude to the entire team!

Our visit was very informative and pleasant. The assistant Ada made it extremely easy to keep my cat Oliver at ease and comfortable before the doctor came in and picked up where she left off. Very clear concise diagnosis and instructions on how to care for my pet. They really put my mind and heart at ease with how they cared for and recognizing my pet’s needs moving forward. I can’t thank them enough.

I was a little concerned with some issues my new puppy was experiencing, but I haven’t had any pets before so I didn’t want to continue to stress myself unnecessarily. I brought my new buddy into the Brookland location and they immediately put me at ease once explaining my concerns. Ada was extremely friendly and caring. It was really clear she loves her job.
