First off I will say Abby not a bad vet. But they don't even tell you can't go into the building at all. You have to say in your vehicle waiting wondering what is happening to your pet. Yes they will text your phone asking questions and tell you what's going on. But my wife has super bad anxiety specially with animals cause what has happen to her pets in the pass. Also just this one visit was very expensive. I'm just glad I actually had the money.

Deuel Veterinary Services can be contacted at (618) 548-6755 or via mobile phone at +1 618-548-6755. For local users in Salem and the surrounding areas, this provides a direct point of contact for inquiries, appointment scheduling, and in case of urgent needs. Knowing the contact information of your local Pet Hospital is the first step in ensuring your pet receives timely care when needed.

Based on the available information, including customer reviews, it is important to present a balanced perspective on the services and environment at Deuel Veterinary Services. One review mentions a policy where clients are not allowed to enter the building and must wait in their vehicles during their pet's visit. Communication regarding the pet's condition and any questions is reportedly done via text messaging. While this approach may prioritize certain operational efficiencies, it's important for pet owners, especially those with anxiety about their animals' well-being, to be aware of this protocol. The reviewer also noted that their visit was "very expensive," highlighting the need for pet owners to inquire about potential costs beforehand.

Another review expresses significant dissatisfaction, particularly concerning an emergency situation involving a puppy that was allegedly turned away because the clinic was not accepting new patients at that time. The reviewer's sentiment underscores the critical nature of emergency veterinary care and the expectations pet owners have when seeking help for their animals in urgent situations. This feedback raises questions about the clinic's policies regarding emergency care for non-established patients.

Considering these customer experiences, local users seeking a Pet Hospital should weigh these perspectives alongside their own needs and priorities. Factors such as communication preferences, the level of direct interaction desired with the veterinary staff, and the clinic's approach to emergency situations may be important considerations.

As a Pet Hospital, Deuel Veterinary Services likely offers a range of services typically associated with general veterinary care. These may include routine check-ups, vaccinations, preventative care, diagnostic services (such as blood work and imaging), treatment for illnesses and injuries, and potentially surgical procedures. However, the specific scope of services provided by Deuel Veterinary Services is not detailed in the provided information. Local users are encouraged to contact the clinic directly to inquire about the comprehensive list of services they offer for different types of pets.

Information regarding the environment of Deuel Veterinary Services is limited based on the provided text. Typically, a veterinary hospital aims to provide a clean and comfortable setting for both pets and their owners (where permitted). This includes examination rooms, treatment areas, and possibly waiting areas. Given the mention of clients waiting in their vehicles, it suggests that the typical client interaction within the building might be limited, at least according to one recent experience. For local users, understanding the clinic's environment and how it might impact their and their pet's comfort level could be a factor in their decision-making process.

In terms of features, the ability to contact the clinic via both a landline and a mobile phone number offers convenience for pet owners. The use of text messaging for communication during appointments, as mentioned in one review, could be considered a feature of their current operational approach. However, the reviews do not highlight specific advanced medical technologies or specialized services that might be considered unique features of Deuel Veterinary Services.

Currently, there is no promotional information available for Deuel Veterinary Services in the provided text. Local users interested in learning about any special offers, discounts, or specific programs are advised to reach out to the clinic directly through the provided phone numbers.

In conclusion, Deuel Veterinary Services is a Pet Hospital located in Salem, IL, offering veterinary care for local pets. While specific details about their full range of services, environment, and any promotional offers are not provided, customer reviews offer some insights into their operational practices, particularly regarding client access to the building and experiences with emergency care and costs. Honestly I have no clue why she is still in business. Had an emergency with a puppy that sadly passed away later on. But, he was turned away by her because she wasn't taking new patients. Hearing that from the ones that go into this profession to help animals is really gross. My dog was in the process of ODing from ingesting chemicals. You're making money from doing emergency visits anyways especially from non patients. If you're going to turn animals away then find a new profession.

At first we had a pleasant experience up until one of our pup's got really sick. You put a lot of trust that a vet will go above and beyond to ensure the health and well-being of your animal. I tell you what this is not the place where you will have that comfort knowing your animal is being taken care of. We had a puppy get sick after he tore up a puppy pad so my wife took him in because he was showing signs of bowel obstruction. All they did was look at the stool sample and said he has worms so they treated him for worms and moved on with no xray or any other testing and was told to bring him back if he got worse and he did. So they pumped him full of fluids and same thing bring him back if he doesn't improve and yet again he didn't. So she brought him back just to get turned away. She sat in that parking lot scrambling to find another vet to look at him and while she was doing that he passed away. they honestly showed no remorse when they came out to get another animal. It was later confirmed it was a blockage and he could have been saved if a xray was taken and the blockage was removed. Some vets do this job because it's a pure passion and some just do it to collect money and they showed us they are only there to collect money.

These people are rude, young women took my dog, barely talked when she took her or when I came got her. Gave my shepherd some pills on Thursday, dead yesterday. When I called just now, the woman answered, I told her my dog is dead and she just stopped talking. Question is, that girl who took my dog was so rude, and not pleasant when answering my call, so why is she nice to them and rude to us? Aggravating
