My dog needed multiple growths removed. We agreed to that after discussing which ones were the most important to remove because of the possibility of him being able to reach them and then lick and chew until infected. I stressed multiple times with the vet and then the techs that they needed to concentrate on removing ones from his mid back to his back end/tail. But after surgery (laser and scalpel that cost me a small fortune to the tune of over $2500), we discovered one that was left on his back left flank that he can reach and is now licking and chewing. I talked to the vet tech named Brianna about this afterwards and got nowhere with her. In fact, she left me hanging with complete silence a couple times on that phone call which was very uncomfortable. Maybe she didn’t know what to say but she should’ve said something. I feel like this was a spot they should not have missed because of the discussions that I had with them and that they should’ve offered to do something about this at no extra cost for me. Then the other day I had my dog groomed and my groomer found a stitch that they had neglected to remove also. Extremely disappointed in how this was handled and will never go back there and will not recommend. UPDATE: they came through for me and did the right thing and removed the growth that was missed the first time. No charge to me. That was awesome! Cooper is now recovering with three small stitches that will come out in two weeks. Thanks very much!
