I can not be more thankful that we were referred there. Dr. Joe is awesome! He explained in detail all of my dog’s bloodwork. He gave me several options and helped me decide how to proceed. Let’s not forget the wonderful staff. Scout had to spend the night and when I got there to pick him up I saw pictures of him cuddling with one of the ladies. Another worker showed me a picture of them putting a hat on him. I felt so much better knowing that he wasn’t just stuck in a cage with no human interaction. Scout is definitely feeling better after his visit. What he has may not be curable but he is enjoying life as long as he can thanks to this animal hospital. The first picture is from this morning so the staff can see he still has a little pep in his step!

It was the most peaceful experience I could have asked for." We had to use Denver Animal Emergency for our cat, Lucky, due to severe/sudden kidney issues. While the outcome was not at all what we hoped for, everyone there was so kind to Lucky during his last days. They did such a good job of keeping us informed and helping us have some peace when we had to make such a difficult decision. The kindness and compassion shown to me and my family when we came to say our goodbyes meant a lot.

Amazing experience here! Brought my dog in for an emergency checkup because we thought he broke his leg - Dr. Pierce and his staff were FANTASTIC! Got us in super quickly (it's first come first serve so we got lucky that it was quiet) and were really understanding when Jasper got anxious in the waiting room. Dr. Pierce talked us through all his findings and the results and told us not to hesitate if we had any follow up questions. Definitely recommend if you need a vet at odd hours as they're open 24/7! Update: yesterday, Labor Day we were in need of an emergency vet as our senior dog appeared to be in critical condition - Denver was the ONLY one out of 5 vets that was open (due to the holiday). We arrived and they immediately took her back; it was soon determined that she was crashing and it was recommended that we humanely euthanize her. The vet and his staff were incredibly kind throughout the entire process. Thank you for being there for us in our time of need 🙏🏽 One last update - just got the ashes from my Penelope and, as weird as it is to say, the presentation was beautiful. Thank you so much 😭
