I’m at a point in my life where I can afford quality regular vet care for my dogs for the first time ever but I still carry a lot of financial trauma with me; part of me was very anxious and suspicious as to whether or not there was a difference between a vet like Banfield and a vet like DPVH. No shade to the lovely teams at Banfield who have helped me & mine over the years… but there’s a night & day difference that puts my anxieties to rest every time I’ve dealt with any of the staff members here. This is the kind of vet office where I feel my dog in front of them is their number one priority— I have never felt pushed to rush my puppy when she was unsure, and I can tell her emotional wellbeing is just as important to them as her physical health. I have learned more in conversations with their vets, techs, and front desk staff about the health of dogs than I have in a decade of going to my previous vets. The handful of times I’ve been here, I’ve only ever bumped into one other customer and their dog in the lobby— this is a boon to customers with fearful animals! I feel confident that they have the experience & connections in the area to help me with the health issues that could arise for my Doberman later in her life (fingers crossed that we never have to put that to use). I love my dogs to the moon & back, and the wonderful people here make me feel better equipped to be the kind of dog parent that I strive to be. So glad I decided to start taking my puppy here! My adult doggos will be joining her there, soon. Y’all are absolutely awesome and I’m positive that my senior dog & anxious dog will benefit from the consideration y’all extend your patients 💖

My dog, Echo, cut is paw pretty bad on something late one night, unfortunately the next day I was scheduled to go out of town for 2-4 days (and I had to be in the office early the next morning), so I had a very small window to get him into a vet somewhere to be checked out. DP Vet Hospital was able to see him at 4 (and for a slightly better diagnosis price than I had been quoted at another location). The entire staff were so friendly and took such great care of my shy/anxious pup. Dr. Natale was able to clean and wrap the cut quickly so that I was able to bring him with me out of town. I'm very grateful for all of their help and for seeing me on such short notice!

I came from Newtown (Anderson) to come to the best vet (and person in general) in the Cincinnati area. Dr. Scott. I actually searched the internet to find her, since she left the practice near me. She is incredibly smart, and really takes into account how the pet owner is feeling at the time about their pet. If I ever had to have my 18 year old dog put to sleep, she would be the only one I felt comfortable enough with doing it, or I probably never would. Thank you for acting like it was normal to have someone scream because their best friend was gone. (I didn't know that was coming). Thank you for your constant reassurance, and thank you for carrying him away with blankets like he was still alive. His ashes came delivered to my house the next day by the nicest man, also. Thank you Dr.Scott, for helping me come to this decision, because now I see how hard life must have been for him.😢

I have took all my dogs here and love them! They absolutely put animals first and treat them like their own family members. Never spoken to one rude person. Today I called for an emergency an hour before close and they still fit me in. They took such great care of us right away. They had us stay a little longer just to make sure we wouldn’t run into any issues after they closed. It’s so nice to find somewhere that deeply cares about our pets and our feelings. Best place to go!

The care & compassion DPVH showed during the tremendous loss of our dear sweet Willow "bug" has lifted us up during very sad times. The ENTIRE staff has been a tremendous blessing to us. The care that Dr. Naas and her team gives come from the love that they have for animals. If you don't already feel your vet is the best of the best, switch to this one; you will be glad you did. From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU for the care that you also gave to our precious "Dog-Dog" Sadie. (a feline -- for those that are confused by the pics) and to little Willow. Even though we are lost without "Dog-Dog" Sadie and Willow "Bug". We know that we will see them soon on the other side of the rainbow Bridge.
