I had brought my dog down here because of her dewclaws one the right front paw was infected. They told me that it could be cancerous but the test would be expensive and further testing would be even more expensive! They recommend to remove the dewclaw. It was going to cost over $600. I cancelled the surgery and took her to the vet in Pisgah. The cost to treat her was under $200 for a simple infection with an antibiotic. It’s been over a year now and we haven’t had any more problems with the dewclaw. Dade County Hospital should be ashamed of themselves for scamming their patients because our beloved pets are sick. It’s disgusting and it should not be tolerated. This is why I’m leaving such a terrible review so others can go elsewhere to care for their beloved animals without the financial burden that they might not have.

We have loved Dr. Singer since he joined Dade County Animal Hospital. He is compassionate, caring and taken care of our dogs whenever we needed him. He has worked us in during emergencies and been with my wife and I at the end of our precious dogs lives. It is hard to lose your best friend and he made such a difference in our lives and our dogs lives. You just can't find a better veteranian. 5 STAR***** all the way.

Let’s face it. Your animals can’t speak to you in words. In my case I’ve had my little girl for 13 years of her life after adoption. She’s getting older and I’ve taken her to clinics all over the USA and yes I chose my words correctly. I’ve asked why is she getting abnormally fat and if she has what I thought was tumors on the outside of her body can she have them on the inside as well? She has had blood work and labs ran on her and most have either dismissed it cause of her age or have given her antibiotics for her low grade fever. I was watching her over the weekend and truly thought this is it. She is going to die. So this clinic got her in to check her out. Worth our permission they did an ultra sound and found that she indeed had what looked to be a tumor on her spleen. The Dr then came back to discuss what they had found and discussed the different treatments with us. They told us the reality of what each treatment could possibly do for her. I appreciated the truth. I felt so bad that she had to live with this for so long. They scheduled her surgery as soon as they could. Brought her in. She did well for her age and condition. Sent us home with thorough instructions, medications, and different food for her as well. I appreciate that they didn’t look badly upon us or the situation. Listened I mean truly listened to what we had to say to everything into consideration. Had compassion towards her and us. So far she is doing way better then I expected. I’m glad she is no longer in pain from her tumor and recovery from surgery is going well. Choosing the right veterinarian is like choosing the right Dr for yourself. Sometimes it’s a long journey, don’t give up. Thank you for being there for our family when we needed you. I will definitely be recommending your facility to anyone in need. God Bless

Worst animal clinic we have ever had to work with. We have lived all over the world and have dogs and cats everywhere we have been. Every Vet Clinic we have been to has been amazing except for this one. Today, I booked an appointment online, took time off work, drove 30 minutes to the clinic, only to be told that they don't see my booking (even tho I have a confirmation email) and then said that even if I did have an appointment, they didn't have any doctors available. This isn't the first time that this happened, but it will certainly be the last.
