Culpeper Animal Hospital

I went in after having a barn cat diagnosed with diabetes at the emergency vet down south. The vet looked him over and suggested he was a good candidate for a new oral medication because he has no other health issues. While they're still ordering the medicine as I type, and we dont know for sure that it will work, I feel better than I have in a while and that maybe I CAN be a mom to a diabetic cat. I called to verify my appointment that I had for my dog this Saturday and I was told by whoever was at the front desk she sound like a man very gruff voice that Courtney had said that I had to make a deposit and I’m like well that’s not what I was told and I made these appointments like 30 days ago And I said Courtney is literally taking this out on me because she doesn’t like me. I know she is she’s always done this to me. She’s always been mean to me anyway the lady at the front desk hung the phone up on me. I never have had a problem with Dr. Vargas. I used Andrea when she was there and I just recently used the other vet who I thought was really wonderful. She was an older lady. I didn’t get her name, but I don’t appreciate the attitude that I received from there. Yes I have had a few cancellations and the reason is I do not drive but I don’t appreciate being mistreated. I highly recommend whoever to reach out to the vet Dr. Vargas herself because I don’t realize that she thinks her practice is being run properly because Courtney has been there for so long but it’s not it’s been very Bad customer service upfront and I guess Dr. Vargas doesn’t care about that

Just wanted to say how much I appreciated the staff at Culpeper Animal Hospital. We needed to humanely euthanise our leopard gecko on a Saturday. Literally the 4 other vet hospitals that we called turned us away because they didn't work with reptiles (we live in a fairly rural area, with no exotic vets nearby). Culpeper Animal Hospital, although they also don't work with exotics, were kind enough to help our sweet gecko pass peacefully. So thankful they were there for us when we needed them.

My puppy had me worried as she had a lump swelling on her neck seemingly out of nowhere. I called (it was close to closing time) and they were able to see her immediately. It turns out my kitty had clawed her and it was turning into an infection. The staff was so friendly and kind. They were able to drain the infection and gave meds to take home. Such a scary experience turned into a relief. Thank you to all of the staff for helping by baby in her time of need ❤️

From the moment I walked into Culpeper Animal Hospital, I felt relieved considering the difficult circumstances my dog ​​Sally was going through that day, and I knew she would be in good hands. The kindness of the staff and the professionalism of the veterinarian were unparalleled. I am so grateful for their compassionate care.
