Our first experience with everyone at Creature Comforts was great. We have an almost 14 year old cat who has been falling recently and Dr. Duggan was so kind, compassionate and just wanted to get to the bottom of what was happening. My husband and I really appreciated the follow up call to see how she was doing. Thank you for helping our fur-baby.

I cannot begin to explain how wonderful Dr. Fuhrmann is. My beagle boys are my entire world, and I am most definitely a hit mess when something is not ok…plus they are beagles so they are VERY DRAMATIC, and the kindness, thoroughness and care shown for every visit. Recently on a fb group someone (with comments closed of course) was saying negative things about this vet and Dr. Fuhrmann and I had to add my review to the other glowing ones. I’m not exaggerating when I say trusting them with my babies lives is trusting them with mine. When Snoopy was recently hurt after hours, Dr. Fuhrmann called within ten minutes Monday morning offering to clear a spot on her schedule, called the urgent care, and followed up with them as well. Called again a few days later after that…and honestly that is just one small example. Truly incredible caring people. Plus she gives my mom’s dog Sammi the best haircuts!!

I only have great things to say about this place. To fellow rat owners - I recommend Creature Comforts. I was so scared about bringing in my girl to a vet, but Dr. Fairlie was awesome. Pebbles (my rat) loved her and she was so helpful with medication and reassuring me. I felt like she cared and listened. Today we unfortunately had to make the call to put pebbles to sleep. The office took us last minute and Dr. Barker and a tech did the procedure. Not only did they take us last min right at the end of the day but they were so kind and wonderful. The tech helping was so sweet with pebbles and kind to us and Dr. Barker was gentle and straightforward. They both made a bad situation that much easier and I really appreciate this whole office. Thank you so much for everything.

My bearded dragon had an accident & his arm was broken up by his alone area. We brought him here & they put a “splint” on it. A few days go by & I notice his hand has a blood blister from the bandage being TOO TIGHT. We called & sent a photo & they told us to bring him in right away. They took him to the back, removed the splint & said “we’re gonna leave it off & just soak his hand once a day”. Free of charge. A week later we notice he was no longer using his hand. He was moving his elbow & arm perfectly fine. Another week passes & I notice his hand has shrunk in size. A few days later as he was eating his hand FELL OFF. We called again & I explained everything including the bandage being too tight & them removing it. They asked me send a photo & then told me to bring him in the next day. They checked him. Said he was fine & that was that. I came out & the receptionist told me my bill was $52. I asked why when she looked at him for two seconds said he was fine & sent me on my way. Not to mention his arm falling off was a result of them. They had a manager call me on Monday to explain I was being charged for the doctors time. 15 seconds. I continue to explain that it was their fault & she kept talking over me to say “a bandage is not going to cause his hand to fall off. It was because of his prior injury”. I continued with saying “his hand was not effected until you guys put the bandage on him. He used his hand just fine even with the broken arm until you wrapped it. She then proceeded to say “it looks like we’re not going to see eye to eye on this so we’re going to have to refer you to another specialist. I told her that was fine & that I was going to file a animal negligence complaint against them and she hung up. She was very rude and was not trying to take any blame for what had happened to my dragon. Don’t go here. They’ll rob you blind and then when they mess up they’ll blame you. Photos of the splint, the blood blister, after it was removed & started to shrink, & when it fell off. You can clearly see the bandage was too tight in the first photo

Experience was amazing from start to finish: got a same-day appointment for an emergency (in fact, was in with the vet within 2 hours of calling), all staff were incredibly sweet and gentle and loving to my sweet old tortoise, the vet was super clear & reassuring. Services breakdown was clear, front-desk communication was great. It's hard to find vets who treat exotics like the beloved family pets they are: these guys actually made me cry, they were so lovely. Couldn't recommend enough.
