Dr. Scott is our vet whenever possible. He is extremely knowledgeable, caring and compassionate. He saved one of my cat’s lives several years ago when another vet barely helped us. Recently, he treated our other cat and gave her the best care possible. He worked with other vets in his practice to try to find solutions for her. Sadly she didn’t make it however they kept her happy and with us until she was 10. She was a little angel. Dr. Scott has been great with our dog, too. He has a way of helping her calm down. I wouldn’t take my pets anyplace else.

Highly recommend this clinic for your pet. Dr. Tom is fantastic and always took excellent care of my cat when i would bring him for appointments. They made such a caring and peaceful experience when I had to have him put down and were incredibly thorough with everything. I can't thank Dr. Tom enough.

I have taken my dogs to Crago for over 15 years and my family has been customers since the mid 90’s. I can sadly say the service and care has declined. The front desk staff on the phone are completely rude the past few years as many of their core staff have left. The new girls are clearly inconvenienced with every phone call and just plain rude. My dog recently had dental surgery and a newly diagnosed, aggressive tumor in her mouth/nose. She was steadily declining and in pain. I called in on a Friday to report her increased pain, shaking and bleeding from her gums and asked for a call back from the vet…received no call back. Called Saturday and message taken with no call back . Nothing Sunday. I called again Monday morning with increased concerns and got a call from the secretary saying the vet refilled her same pain med (the one not working very well) and antibiotic. Clearly my messages weren’t read or received. I finally got a call Tuesday and spoke to the vet. My girl declined so bad Tuesday night into Wednesday. I was never was able to get her new meds in her. She passed 3 days later on Friday under the fantastic care of a local in home vet/euthanasia service. I’ve never felt so dismissed. This was the first time I’ve ever felt my pet didn’t matter to anyone at Crago and it’s enough to make me never want to return with my other dog. Their care is fine, until it really matters.

Dr. Jim Scott is the kindest, most thorough veterinarian that I have ever met. He utilizes a holistic approach to care, and considers the overall wellbeing of our pet. He has an amazing ability to calm even the most anxious dog, and he clearly cares very much about not only the animal he’s working with, but also about his human clients. He is simply the best.

I have been going here for over 35 years and I am beyond upset. Having called the office yesterday because my 22 year old cat is passing some blood when urinating and was told basically that since she was not seen in over 3 years (she has been healthy) that the best thing to do is take her to Girard Emergency clinic. Seriously why have I given this clinic several thousand dollars over the years to hear that being said to me. Apparently their concern is not for my pet, but the amount of funds you give them on a yearly basis. Very unreliable and unprofessional. At least they could have let me speak to a vet to see if anything could be prescribed. When asked when the could see her, I was informed next week sometime because they are short staffed. Totally unacceptable. Shame on them.
