Crabapple Knoll Veterinary Clinic

I’ve been a long-time client of Crabapple Knoll Veterinary Clinic and have nothing but praise for the incredible doctors and staff. Dr. Hartford (retired), Dr. Robustelli, and Dr. King, who we see regularly, are all exceptionally talented, kind, and thorough. They are superstars, and provide my pets with the absolute best care. Its clear how much they love animals and how dedicated they are to their well-being. Dr. Ashley Gaston was also wonderful and compassionate and stayed with us when our beloved Cavalier, Belle, passed away many years ago. The veterinary techs are always wonderful – patient and caring. Over the years, Crabapple Knoll has truly felt like family. Most of the front office staff is warm, welcoming, and makes you feel like your pet is their priority from the moment you walk in. Penny, in particular, is fantastic. That said, my recent experiences with one front office staff member have been less positive. While I understand that the clinic has been busier lately, and I try to remain gracious, this particular individual has been dismissive, abrasive, and at times, condescending. When you’re managing a very sick dog, every interaction matters. Recently, I requested a prescription refill and followed the instructions I was given. When I dropped off a stool sample and asked to pick up a paper script for another medication, I was made to feel as though I was at fault for asking about something I wasn’t “supposed” to assume was ready. I understand things are busy and processes can change, but how information is communicated makes a big difference, especially when you’re dealing with the stress of a sick pet. Despite these recent challenges, I still love and appreciate the care and dedication of the veterinary team and the majority of the front office staff at Crabapple Knoll. However, this particular staff member consistently leaves me feeling frustrated, and after this recent interaction, I left feeling very upset.

We have been trusting Crabapple Knoll Vet.Clinic for almost three years with our two Australian Shepherd dogs. The level of professionalism of all the administration and clinical staff is unmatched. We truly feel our fur babies are in the best hands with this caring group of excellent professional.

The vets and team at Crabapple Knoll are amazing! Dr. Robustelli went above and beyond to make sure we were not overcharged for a service and took time to speak to us so we understood our options and make good decisions during a complex health situation we encountered. Our fur baby is happy and healthy now and we are very thankful for the great care given to both of our dogs when they visit this practice. I would definitely recommend this vet!

This clinic has been wonderful. It's always fairly easy to get an appointment, sometimes even the same day if you don't need to see a particular vet. Dr. Daniel and Dr. Robustelli are some of the best vets I've ever seen. So friendly, kind, patient, and thorough in their explanations! My little dog is nearing the end of her life, and I'm so glad knowing she will be getting the best care until the very end.

Crabapple Knoll is a wonderful vet practice. All staff are kind, knowledgeable, and take great care of both pet and owner concerns. Highly recommend.
