When you seek veterinary care for your pet, the environment plays a crucial role in ensuring both your comfort and your pet's. While specific details about the interior aesthetics of Countryside Veterinary Hospital are not explicitly provided, a "Pet Hospital" typically prioritizes a clean, organized, and calming atmosphere. You can expect a welcoming reception area, designed to minimize stress for both pets and their owners. Examination rooms are generally equipped with the necessary tools for thorough check-ups, and in a professional veterinary setting, cleanliness and hygiene are paramount to prevent the spread of illness. The overall environment of a reputable pet hospital like Countryside Veterinary Hospital would strive to create a reassuring and professional setting where animals can receive the best possible care, and owners feel confident in the services provided. The reviews suggest a generally friendly and efficient office, which contributes positively to the overall environment.
Countryside Veterinary Hospital, as a "Pet Hospital," offers a comprehensive range of veterinary services, typically covering everything from routine preventative care to more complex medical interventions. Based on customer testimonials, one of their standout features is the expertise and compassionate approach of **Dr. Lisa**. She is consistently praised for her thorough examinations, her ability to listen attentively to pet owners' concerns, and her skill in providing life-saving and life-altering care. This suggests that the hospital provides excellent diagnostic services, potentially including blood work, imaging (like X-rays or ultrasounds), and other advanced diagnostics to accurately assess a pet's health. The mention of Dr. Lisa providing advice for puppy care indicates a strong focus on preventative health, which would include **vaccinations**, **parasite control**, and guidance on **nutrition and behavior** for pets of all ages. For older pets, like the 14-year-old cat mentioned in a review, the hospital likely offers specialized **senior pet care**, focusing on managing age-related conditions and improving quality of life. The ability to provide "life-saving and altering care" further suggests that they are equipped to handle **non-emergency medical conditions** and potentially offer **urgent care** for more critical situations. While not explicitly stated, a "Pet Hospital" would generally offer services such as **routine surgeries** (spaying, neutering), **dental care**, and management of **chronic conditions**.
The distinctive features of Countryside Veterinary Hospital, as highlighted by customer experiences, primarily revolve around the exceptional quality of care delivered by **Dr. Lisa**. Her ability to provide accurate diagnoses and effective treatment, even for minimal but important symptoms, is a recurring theme. What sets her apart, according to clients, is her commitment to providing **options rather than pushing for specific procedures**, empowering pet owners to make informed decisions about their pet's care. This client-centric approach, combined with her dedication to listening without rushing, creates a trusting and supportive relationship between the veterinarian and the pet owner. This level of personalized and empathetic care is a significant differentiator. However, it's also important to note that some reviews indicate inconsistencies with the front desk staff, particularly regarding communication and prescription fulfillment. While Dr. Lisa's medical expertise is consistently lauded, the administrative aspects of the hospital's operations appear to have areas for improvement, particularly in timely updates and customer service efficiency. Despite these occasional challenges, the overwhelming consensus is that Dr. Lisa's extraordinary care is the primary reason clients choose to continue their patronage.
While specific current promotional information is not available, a "Pet Hospital" like Countryside Veterinary Hospital often engages in various promotional activities to attract and retain clients. These could include **new client discounts**, special offers on **vaccination packages**, or **seasonal promotions** for services like dental cleanings or preventative care. They might also offer **wellness plans** that bundle routine visits and preventative treatments at a discounted rate. Given the positive feedback on Dr. Lisa, the hospital could leverage this by highlighting testimonials on their website or social media. Community engagement is another common promotional strategy, such as participating in local pet adoption events, offering educational workshops on pet health, or sponsoring local animal shelters. Furthermore, loyalty programs, where clients earn rewards for repeat visits or referrals, are often implemented to foster long-term relationships. Potential clients are encouraged to directly contact Countryside Veterinary Hospital to inquire about any current promotions or special offers they may have available. Their phone number is (724) 864-0939 or +1 724-864-0939. This would be the best way to get up-to-date information on any discounts or programs that could benefit your pet's care.

May 16, 2025 · Richard ShantyDr. Lisa is the absolute best vet I could have hoped for for my 14 year old cat. I pay very close attention to her, and Dr. Lisa always listens to everything I say and has been able to save her life as well as her quality of life since coming here and for that I am extremely grateful and absolutely would not trust my cat in anyone else's care. I have come in with non emergencies and minimal but important symptoms and Dr. Lisa has always been exactly right in providing life saving and altering care, as well as immensely accurate care and my little old lady has never been better! She always gives me options rather than pushing me to do anything, and really takes the time to listen to me as an owner without rushing me which is amazing. With that said, one of the usual front desk staff is difficult to deal with at times. I have been cut off while speaking, hung up on before I was finished speaking and also not updated on things. I called in a prescription 4 days in advance, and was told I could come pick it up same day. A different staff called back stating they were ordering the medication but they will call in the next few days when it arrives. I waited 4 days before calling for an update and the usual woman who answers the phone cut me off while asking my question, told me it was not available but they would call me. I said "thank you" and she immediately said "thank you" and hung up on me. I did not want to be a pest, so I waited for a call that I never received. I called and spoke to a very nice staff member who apologized for me not having received the call it was ready. When I arrived, I did receive the medication but asked when I should be calling this in to avoid the gap in time. It took 9 days to get the medication, but I'm not sure how long it would have been had they called me like they stated they would not once but twice. I was told that it's out of their control when things come in, which I understand so I had tried to be proactive. I still do not know when to call this in to avoid gaps in medical treatment. All in all, Dr. Lisa is absolutely AMAZING, which is why we go here. The staff is a different story.
May 01, 2025 · Emma GI’ve had mixed feelings about this facility over the years , I’ve had to have two dogs put down here over the years , for uncontrollable reasons. Dr Lisa was very honest and to the point , she don’t push for unnecessary tests, that won’t make a difference anyway . Vets have a very hard job , I’m sure dealing with putting animals down . I’m just appreciative this time , she made it easier and was compassionate about it
Mar 06, 2025 · TimothyWe absolutely love Dr. Lisa and Staff! We have been clients of Dr. Lisa for 22 years. The care we receive from Dr. Lisa is amazing. She is very knowledgeable and thorough and she always takes her time with us. Highly recommend!
Oct 24, 2019 · Cindy CorderThey took my cat in when he was very ill for a emergency appointment, a bit pricey but I have nothing to compare it too. Very nice and vet called and talked to me explaining everything which I liked. I just dropped him off and picked him later, was very easy. I'm so thankful they helped my cat, Tom😺
