Countryside Veterinary Clinic

This is our 3rd dog and the 2st time coming here. We chose Countryside over our previous vets only because they had great reviews and they board dogs and have doggy day care. I love they have an online platform that is up to date and they have an app for ease of viewing everything. I prefer online connections over phone. You can email all your records too if you choose. Dr Mary Soverns was phenomenal. She related to our newly adopted mixed pit and she grew up in Dunloggin area! She was personable and accommodating. The technician, Nick, was also beyond wonderful. He was at ease with my 55lb pittie mix and she gave him kisses. I was able to get my flea tick and heart worm medications right away. Another thing Dr. Soverns noted was that my Cypress had a skin infection causing her skin flakiness and small pustules. It's been 4 days and I'm already seeing a huge difference in her skin! So far I am very impressed with this place! Also, the front staff were very nice and willing to help at any time.

Didn’t have a vet when we moved to Maryland and was recommended here by a coworker. My cat started throwing up out of no where and without even being a patient yet they let us make an emergency appointment where he ended up needing surgery. Dr Julie Thumel was amazing at addressing all of my concerns and multiple questions. A couple scary things occurred during recovery but they were addressed quickly and efficiently. She was never worried to change the plan when it benefited his health as well as told me she asked for multiple opinions on what could be done during a complication that arose during recovery and came up with the best plan of action. I am so happy to have this place as my regular vet now for my two kitties.

Always caring and compassionate, they never pressured me into tests or procedures that weren’t absolutely necessary. I never felt judged as a pet owner, even when facing financial constraints. They only conducted essential tests to ensure my pet received the best possible care. I trust everyone in their staff. I’ve been using this clinic for many years and will continue to do so. Thank you countryside for caring for all of my pets like your own. Rip our Sondro boy. Dr. Burgess made this sad experience as peaceful as possible. Words can’t express how I appreciate her compassion with my entire family during this time. She truly went above and beyond. We will never forgot this.

Our visit to Countryside Vet Clinic was very successful. I say that because our cat, Phil, is difficult to manage. The staff at Countryside did a great job of working with Phil were very conscientious in their diagnosis of Philp's problems.

I began taking my German shepherd to countryside after hearing about their great service and most importantly their honesty. After having such a negative experience with other veterinarians, going to country side was such big surprise. I can honestly say I love all the doctors, but a special shout out to Dr. Heath Thumel. He treated my 11 year old German shepherd with care and kindness and never tried to over charge me for unnecessary expenses which is pretty much every other vet’s main goal.
