Countryside Equine Veterinary Service Introduce

Welcome to Countryside Equine Veterinary Service, a dedicated pet hospital located at 2601 NE 259th St in Ridgefield, Washington, specializing in the health and well-being of horses. Unlike traditional small animal veterinary clinics, our focus within the "Pet Hospital" category is specifically tailored to the unique needs of equine patients. We understand the significant investment and deep bond you share with your horses, and we are committed to providing expert veterinary care with compassion and professionalism. For appointments or any inquiries regarding your horse's health, please contact us at (360) 887-7814 or our mobile number, +1 360-887-7814.

While the concept of a "hospital" might evoke images of a static clinic, Countryside Equine Veterinary Service operates with a strong emphasis on providing care directly to your horses, often at your farm or stable. This mobile approach minimizes stress for the animals and allows for examination and treatment in their familiar environment. While we may have a central base of operations at the provided address, our primary feature is our ability to bring our expertise and equipment to your location within the Ridgefield and surrounding areas. This eliminates the often challenging and potentially stressful process of transporting large animals to a clinic.

Our services are comprehensive and designed to address a wide range of equine health needs. At the forefront of our practice is the extensive experience and expertise of Dr. Lee. According to the testimonials from our clients, Dr. Lee is a highly educated and experienced veterinarian with a remarkable ability to connect with horses, making even potentially stressful examinations and procedures more manageable. His gentle approach is specifically highlighted, with one client noting their horse no longer becomes nervous during visits. This patient-centered approach is a cornerstone of our service.

We offer a full spectrum of medical services for horses, including routine health examinations and preventative care. This includes vaccinations tailored to your horse's age, lifestyle, and risk factors, as well as deworming programs and nutritional consultations to ensure optimal health and performance. We understand the importance of early detection and preventative measures in maintaining the long-term well-being of your equine companions.

In the event of illness or injury, Countryside Equine Veterinary Service is equipped to provide thorough diagnostics and treatment. While the reviews do not specify the full range of diagnostic equipment we utilize, experienced equine veterinarians typically employ techniques such as lameness evaluations, digital radiography (portable X-ray units for on-site imaging), ultrasound, and laboratory services (either in-house or through trusted referral labs) to accurately assess a horse's condition. Our focus is on providing timely and effective treatments to get your horse back to optimal health.

Surgical services are also a critical component of equine veterinary care. While the reviews do not detail the specific types of surgeries performed, a well-regarded equine veterinary service like ours would typically handle a range of surgical procedures, from routine castrations and wound repairs to more complex soft tissue surgeries. For highly specialized surgical cases, we maintain relationships with referral centers to ensure your horse receives the best possible care. Our commitment to careful spending, as noted by a satisfied client, extends to surgical procedures, ensuring that all recommended treatments are necessary and cost-effective.

One of the most significant features of Countryside Equine Veterinary Service, as emphasized by our clients, is the compassionate and ethical approach to care. Dr. Lee and his staff are consistently described as wonderful, helpful, and genuinely caring. The отзыв regarding the difficult decision to euthanize a horse highlights Dr. Lee's exceptional compassion during a sensitive time, underscoring our commitment to supporting both the animal and their owner with empathy and respect. This level of care extends to all interactions, ensuring a supportive and understanding experience.

Another key feature praised by our clients is the transparency and integrity in our billing practices. One reviewer specifically mentioned that Dr. Lee and his staff are careful with your money and avoid unnecessary charges. This commitment to honest and ethical service builds trust and demonstrates our focus on the well-being of your horse rather than maximizing profits. We believe in providing high-quality care at a fair and reasonable cost.

As a mobile equine veterinary service, our "environment" is primarily your farm or stable. We come equipped to provide the necessary care in a setting where your horse feels most comfortable and secure. Our team is skilled in handling horses of various temperaments and ensuring their safety and well-being during examinations and treatments. The positive feedback regarding Dr. Lee's gentle approach indicates a proficiency in working effectively with equine patients, minimizing stress and ensuring accurate assessments.

Dr. Lee and staff are fantastic! He is so gentle my horse doesn’t even get nervous anymore. They always spend your money carefully and not to pad the bill. You would be hard pressed to find a better veterinary service.

Dr. Randy Lee is wonderful. Unfortunately we had to put down our beautiful horse this morning due to an injury. Dr. Lee came out very quickly on a Sunday and was so kind and caring. I am very thankful for him today.

Randy Lee is one of the best vets I have had....and I have been dealing with vets for 34 years! I recommend him to all that I encounter or that ask me! He is incredibly sensitive to both the horse and the owner, really great to work with. His staff is great as well!

What a great vet! I called on New Year’s Eve with a horse with a leg wound. Dr Lee called me right back and was able to see my horse even though he was technically closed! He was fabulous! We were new clients as our primary vet was out of town for the holidays. But, we will now be clients of this clinic! I Highly recommend this vet!
