I have been bringing my dogs here for years and they used to be great. Now it seems like all they care about is getting you outdoor and getting you for as much money as they can. Had my dog in there yesterday for a ear infection and the vet would brush off what I was saying and even a medication (ear wash) that I already had more than half a bottle left, he met a snarky comment and put another bottle in the bag anyways which I took out at the counter and had them take off my bill. They just don't seem to care anymore and it is constantly busy and a lot of times not very friendly if you have to call in for something. It's a shame because this place used to be great and now it's gone downhill. Every time I go in there's a different vet so it seems like they can't keep vets for any length of time. Paying way too much money to get treated the way they treat people. UPDATE in response to the reply: My review mentioned nothing about time or having to wait or anything like that. I am very reasonable and I know that sometimes you have to wait for an appointment and that has not and never has been an issue nor was it mentioned in my review. My review was simply mentioning the atmosphere in that place the last several times I've been in there for the last couple of years. It is definitely not what it used to be and it is not as friendly as it used to be and the doctor I saw yesterday I've never seen before. The female vet that was there and has seen my dog a couple of times was great. My review will simply sharing their experience that I felt there the last several years.

Been bringing my fur babies here almost 10 years. The last 2 years it's been an act of God to even get my fur baby seen. So with that being said she hadn't been seen in over a year. She started getting lumps everywhere. Again I tried calling for an appointment . Told them it was urgent for I believe my dog was having a bad allergic reaction. Was told to go to the pet ER. Long story short , my sweet fur baby passed away of cancer 2 weeks ago. My other dog was mourning himself to death. So I got a new pup. Called to take in for shots. And they told me they weren't accepting new patients. I said hold up. I've been coming here for over 10 years. We're definitely not new. She responded. Ma'am you've not been here in over a year. I responded, well ma'am, NOT BY MY choice. I've been calling all year. Can't ever get in . Then my poor fur baby gets cancer and dies. Even tried getting her in there before the cancer stuff this entire year! They used to be AMAZING. I DON'T KNOW WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO THIS PLACE!

I love this place. All of the vet techs and doctors are kind and compassionate. They were so good to me when I had to put my cat down. They were very helpful to us when our dogs had back injuries, also. Everything is always explained very well and I feel very confident that my pets are getting the best care with Countryside.

Would I recommend Countryside? My pup Lola was under their care. She had cancer. We lost her 3 weeks ago. She had mast cell tumors. They would bleed. If Lola needed to be re-wrapped, they would see me within an hour. They loved her so much. Whenever I walked in it was like an episode of Cheers. They would shout “Lola”! The day that I took her to get put down was very hard. A few of the staff gathered around me and Lola and cried with me as she crossed the rainbow bridge. So yes I would absolutely recommend Countryside Vet and Dr. Parsley. They are amazing.
