Countryside Animal Hospital

Brand new to Countryside Animal Hospital. My friend highly recommended this establishment, and I feel so blessed that she did. The sad time had come for my sick and elderly cat to be euthanized. The staff was amazing to work with, so helpful, respectful and caring. Dr Anderson was very professional, knowledgeable and compassionate with our situation. The care and support shown to us that day means a lot and made a positive difference in the whole experience. Thank you all!

My dog had a double ear infection. Wanted a vet closer to Palm Harbor and chose this place because it had a 4.7/5... Unfortunately I had a miserable experience. Visit took 2 hours for some steroids, ear medication, and a shot. Most of that time was spent sitting alone in a small, hot room with no air flow and what appeared to be a storage chest with a blanket on it instead of a chair. Got an "I'm sorry" and a $250 bill to go along with the 2-hour visit. Didn't even get the blood work I also wanted. I don't plan on going back and will try to find a different vet in the area.

Dr. Anderson has been my vet for over twenty years of huskies. Today it came time for my last to say goodbye. I originally planned to have an evaluative visit later this week but things with my dog declined fast over this weekend. The office listened to my concerns and set me up for an available time where we could both evaluate and make that euthanasia decision. Dr. Anderson was compassionate and caring throughout. I really appreciated them making the time available between an otherwise booked schedule to help with something that was anticipated but impossible to plan. Thanks again.

Dr. Anderson may be the worst vet I have ever seen. I would have given zero stars if that was an option. She was completely rude and unprofessional... I was actually taken aback from her behavior. I took my dog there to have a cyst removed. We picked him up and the stitches did not seem secure from the get-go. See the first photo I attached as proof. By the next day, they were coming loose. We called her office and left a message, but never heard back. By the second day, the stitches were complete out. We called Dr. Anderson 3 times that day and never got a call back. I took my dog to an emergency vet because his wound was completely open and exposed. The emergency vet did an amazing job. See the second photo. I finally got a voice message from Anderson's office the next morning. I did not call back because I was angry it took so long for them to even respond to the 4 or 5 total calls we made over the previous days. Four days later, Dr. Anderson herself calls me. She tried to blame the whole thing on the fact my dog did not have a cone over his head..... which he did! She was accusatory and rude and then hung up on me! I hope people read this and consider any other vet for their pet. The unprofessionalism alone was absolutely terrible. The fact that she neglected to properly care for my pet is even worse.

I can’t say enough great things about Dr. Blanchard. We almost lost our Yogi recently and he went above and beyond to get him better. He took care of yogi as if he were his own. My family and I cannot be anymore grateful. I’m so happy that my little fur baby is doing better. Thanks Dr. Blanchard!
