Country Garden Veterinary Clinic

We just had our first appointment with Dr. D and I have nothing but positivity to share! Our senior shepherd is nearing his time to cross the rainbow bridge, so we had a quality of life consult/exam today. From our call with Olivia in reception, to our "nurse"/tech Larry, and our blood draw with Hadley/Dr. D, we were offered endless amounts of compassion and kindness every step of the way. Our shepherd has a history of reactivity with strangers, especially men, but he didn't bark or lunge at any of the clinic staff. He even saw Dr. Wood in passing and gently sniffed him with curiosity! He always has had to be muzzled for blood draws but Hadley & Dr. D didn't hold that against him; they still gave our old man so much love (and peanut butter!) throughout the whole process. I genuinely could feel the empathy Dr. D had for us in this difficult situation. I am incredibly particular on veterinary care for my animals and have visited MANY clinics/veterinarians that I've been unhappy with... I can assure you that Country Garden soars above all. Their level of care and compassion is unmatched and you won't regret trusting them with your pets. 💛 Update: We've now brought all of our pets to see Dr. D and can truthfully say we wouldn't change a thing about our review! Even our high-stress cat seemed pretty relaxed during his visit 🥰

Outstanding veterinarian service! I was in dire need of a quick vet visit. It was not really an emergency, but I could not wait till my regular vet to open the next day, and I wasn't going to drive to Lansing for an ER visit. Country Garden Vet took me right in, no hassle no problem, they took care of everything I needed for my fur baby. Fortunately it was not a serious issue and we were out in one hour! The vet was very, very nice and sympathetic, the staff was super nice and professional. And the best part with this same day, new customer visit was the cost, it was very reasonable, NO price gouging. I will definitely be returning back to the Country Garden vet! I highly recommend this vet and her office. You won't regret it!

I'll rate them 5 stars over and over again. I drive 2 hours just to go here because Dr. D is an absolute angel. She's done so much for my ferrets. More than the emergency clinic ever could. Every single staff member is caring and compassionate. Not to mention they adore my boys.

Dr. D and her staff are so outstanding beyond words. First..I called out of the blue after searching for months for a veterinarian that would neuter my Flemish Giant Bunny for less than 700.00 between a well check and the actual surgery. Second..my poor boy was already extremely uncomfortable because all of the places I had already called and booked him with were months and months out. So while we waited, I kept searching and my carpets were going to ruin as my big boy had begun pottying everywhere I would sit or hang out. He's spoiled rotten, so I diligently continued to just clean up after him and pray for an answer before we moved into our new home. This answer came in the form of a referral to Country Garden!!! I called and explained our situation and they not only scheduled my "Artful Dodger" right away as a new patient, but their prices were better than any other place I called in Michigan, Indiana or Ohio. To top it off, the office is beautiful, the staff are wonderful and Dr. D is absolutely amazing. My Artful Dodger was terrified upon arrival and Dr. D got right on the floor with him and he fell in love with her. He doesn't do that normally, and it made it much more calm for his ride home and his trip back to see her for actual surgery. I will never take my pets anywhere else! This place is the absolute best!

When my fur baby got sick, I searched all over Jackson to try to find a place to get him in as soon as possible. What I discovered was that because my fur baby was a rat, most places wouldn’t even look at him. Then I found this clinic, Country Garden veterinary clinic, and I couldn’t be happier to have found them. While Master Splinter was too sick to be saved, they knew he was suffering and they made sure to get him in that day. They went above and beyond to do so. Because of that, we were able to put him to rest and not watch him suffer anymore. The emotional pain my boyfriend and I were going through, watching him suffer, turned me into a crying mess. The kindness and sensitivity of the people at this clinic is unmatched. Master Splinter was cared for by the best people I could hope for. After they helped him cross over the rainbow bridge, they brought us an imprint of his little paws and his little tail with a little vile of his fur. I wasn’t expecting this, and it was the best gift they could’ve given me aside from helping him to not suffer anymore. They went above and beyond to help Master Splinter. They went above and beyond to be sensitive to our feelings with having to lose our best good boy. I received a card about a month later in the mail with his little paw prints and it was signed by the staff with sweet sentiments written in regards to Master Splinter. We were not prepared to go through this as it happened so suddenly, I don’t think you can ever really be prepared for loss. However, the staff at this clinic made sure his memory wouldn’t be forgotten and made it the best possible experience we could have asked for. I will never take any of my fur family to another veterinary clinic because I think we would be hard-pressed to find better or even matched care.
