My dog loves everyone, but he has never loved a vet as much as he loves Dr. Olsen. He was immediately all over him and clearly loved his energy. Dr. Olsen was very reassuring and confident that he could help us, and this office really helped us out when we needed to get into a vet ASAP. The surgery we needed went very well, and the incision has healed so cleanly. I am very happy with my experiences here, and will definitely be back.

In June 2021, I surprised my boyfriend with an Akita puppy, and after extensive research, I chose Copper Mountain Animal Hospital to care for her. Bringing my precious three-month-old Kyoto to Dr. Sarah was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. From the warm and welcoming front desk staff to the compassionate technicians and skilled doctors, Copper Mountain truly sets the gold standard for veterinary care. A year later, in June 2022, my boyfriend and I rescued another pup, Akihiko, an Akita/Shepherd mix with a difficult past. He had been abused by a male and struggled with trusting men. After discussing his needs with the incredible front desk team, we decided Akihiko would see the owner of the practice, Dr. John Olsen. From the very first visit, Dr. Olsen worked wonders. He built a rapport with Akihiko, creating a safe environment that helped my boy feel comfortable and even happy at the vet—just like his sister, Kyoto. These two dogs are my children, and every time I’ve had even the smallest concern, Copper Mountain has gone above and beyond to support us. Their care, kindness, and unwavering dedication have reassured this sometimes panicked dog mom time and time again. In June 2024, my fiancé tragically took his life, and his family rehomed my beloved Akitas. It was one of the hardest experiences of my life, but Copper Mountain’s kindness and support helped me through that dark time. They stood by me until I was reunited with my pups and continued to provide the same exceptional care until I made the tough decision to move back to my home state of Massachusetts. Even after the move, their support has been remarkable. To Dr. Olsen, Dr. Sarah, the amazing technicians, and the incredible front desk team (especially Karen and Emily), thank you for being the most compassionate and dedicated veterinary team I’ve ever encountered. The whole team at Copper Mountain Animal Hospital really go above and beyond and it is very obvious that they are all passionate about what they do and truly care about your pets. I have taken my dogs to see Dr. Olson, Dr. Sarah, and Dr. Davids and they are all just the best! So great with my dogs and also very patient with explaining everything to me. Emily at the front desk is so so nice and always very helpful. All of the vet techs have been wonderful as well. One of my dogs struggles with fear aggression but he acts like a completely different dog with the vet staff its unbelievable. Truly goes to show the experience and care that the whole staff brings. I just cannot express enough how grateful I am to this whole team.

This vet has been so amazing with our two cats. Incredibly helpful and kind staff, including the reception desk. Nothing but good things to say about them!

I love this place!!. Everyone in this office shows true love for animals. Dr Olsen and Dr sara are amazing pet Dr's. They have really been there for us with our pup Bandit. When we got him at 5 weeks he was very sick and now he's healthy as a horse thanks to copper mountain and these 2 wonderful doctors. Thank you for all you do.. . Lori Palmer
