The first visit was honestly phenomenal. My dog and I met great people who seemed to care. Got us to get the extra shots and everything!! Each visit worsened after that. This facility is absolutely 100% profit driven. No other way to put the treatment and bedside manner received. They’ll let your pet leave knowing it’s possible there’s a bigger issue then BLAME YOU for not spending the money for the tests the first time…. Even when THEY advised other trials. There is a reason they’re boasting that they are taking new patients, because people who truly love their pets are going elsewhere. Special shoutout to Dr Goldberg who will take a week to get back to you, and when they do, they’ll be sure to make you feel cheap and make it seem like they didn’t advise you on the decisions made. Do your loved ones a favor and seek an alternate care facility. I love my dog more than words can comprehend, I take the best care of her I possibly can. Leaving this review does not bring me joy, I am hoping it helps another person and or their pet, get better care.

Welcome to Conway Veterinary Hospital

Welcome to Conway Veterinary Hospital, a Pet Hospital located at 296 E Main St, Conway, NH 03818, USA, serving the Conway community and surrounding areas. As a local veterinary care provider, Conway Veterinary Hospital aims to offer a range of services to address the health needs of your beloved pets. Based on recent customer reviews, experiences at this facility appear to be varied, with some pet owners reporting positive initial interactions and others expressing concerns about the practice's approach to treatment and client communication.

The environment of Conway Veterinary Hospital, while not explicitly described in detail, can be inferred to be a standard veterinary clinic setting. This would typically include a reception area for clients and their pets, examination rooms where consultations and minor procedures take place, and potentially a treatment area for administering medications and monitoring patients. Depending on the scope of services offered, the hospital may also have surgical facilities and diagnostic imaging equipment. The initial positive review suggests a welcoming atmosphere with "great people who seemed to care," indicating a potentially pleasant environment upon first encounter.

The services offered at Conway Veterinary Hospital likely encompass a range of general veterinary care. This would typically include routine wellness examinations, vaccinations, and parasite prevention. The first reviewer mentioned their dog receiving "extra shots and everything" during their initial visit, suggesting that preventative care is part of their service offerings. Additionally, as a Pet Hospital, Conway Veterinary Hospital would likely provide diagnostic services to identify illnesses and injuries. These may include in-house laboratory testing for blood work, urinalysis, and fecal exams, as well as imaging services such as X-rays. Furthermore, they would offer medical treatment for various conditions and may perform surgical procedures, although the specifics of their surgical capabilities are not detailed in the provided reviews.

One of the features highlighted in the reviews is the ability to accommodate same-day appointments, as mentioned by a pet owner whose cat had injured herself. This suggests a degree of responsiveness to immediate needs. The second reviewer also praised the kindness and gentleness shown to their cat, as well as the thoroughness of the examination and the willingness to answer questions. The fact that the veterinarian allowed the owner to be present to ensure the cat's comfort indicates a patient-focused approach in at least some instances. Moreover, the willingness to discuss financial concerns and provide treatment options suggests a degree of flexibility and understanding.

However, a significant concern raised in the first review is the perception of the facility being "absolutely 100% profit driven." This reviewer felt that subsequent visits did not maintain the positive initial impression and described a bedside manner that prioritized further testing and treatment costs. The experience of feeling blamed for not pursuing more expensive tests initially, even after the veterinarian had advised other trials, is a serious point of contention. This reviewer strongly advises pet owners to "seek an alternate care facility," suggesting a significant negative experience that impacted their trust in the hospital's motives.

The first review also mentions difficulty in communication, specifically with Dr. Goldberg, who allegedly took a week to respond and then made the owner feel "cheap" for not opting for more expensive tests earlier. This breakdown in communication and the perceived judgmental attitude are significant drawbacks highlighted by this customer. The fact that the hospital is reportedly "boasting that they are taking new patients" is interpreted negatively by this reviewer, who believes it is due to dissatisfied clients seeking care elsewhere.

Currently, there is no information provided regarding any specific promotional offers at Conway Veterinary Hospital. For local users in Conway, NH, and the surrounding areas, Conway Veterinary Hospital at 296 E Main St presents a mixed picture based on recent customer reviews. While one pet owner reported a positive initial experience and appreciated the same-day appointment and the handling of their financial concerns, another long-term client expressed significant concerns about the practice's profit-driven approach, communication issues, and bedside manner. It is essential for potential clients to consider these differing experiences when making decisions about their pet's care. Contacting the hospital directly to inquire about their services, policies, and approach to patient care may help in forming a more complete understanding.

In conclusion, Conway Veterinary Hospital in Conway, NH, is a Pet Hospital that has received both positive and negative feedback from recent customers. While some have appreciated the friendly initial interactions, the ability to get same-day appointments, and the consideration of financial constraints, others have raised serious concerns about the practice's focus on profit, communication, and bedside manner. Local pet owners are advised to carefully consider these reviews and potentially seek further information from the hospital directly to determine if their approach aligns with their expectations for their pet's veterinary care.

My silly cat injured herself the night before, so i called first thing in the morning and was met with a friendly and caring person on the other line. They were able to get my cat in the same day for an appointment! They were very kind and gentle with her and took their time and allowed me to be right there to ensure kitties comfort. They were very thorough and answered any and all questions i had, and the best part is it did not feel transactional. I expressed financial concern, and they gave me some options for treatment. The price was fair, and I definitely will be bringing her back in! Nyx is feeling 100x better and will be happy to be out of her "cone of shame" soon. Thank you again!

We recently moved to the area and picked Conway Veterinary Hospital as our new vet office. We have two older cats and one (soon to be two) young dog(s). We had our first visit this past week and I have nothing but good things to say. It was clean, they were prompt and attentive, hardly any wait to be seen. The vet tech Amber was wonderful to talk to and so knowledgeable I forgot she wasn't our actual veterinarian! When our Dr came in my great impression continued. I am thrilled to have picked a place to take care of my fur babies that so clearly cares about our animals as much as I do. It was only our first visit but I can tell I made the right choice and we are in caring, attentive and knowledgeable hands. :)

I have been bringing my pets to Conway veterinary hospital for 10 years now. Everybody is so kind, friendly and helpful. I currently have seven pets, so I am visiting quite frequently and have never once had a bad experience. They listen and truly care about each pet individually and learn each ones unique personalities. I have full trust in them with my fur babies health. I wouldn’t bring my guys anywhere else! Five stars for sure -Shauna Fitzsimmons

They saved our dogs life! We live in Maine and we took her to Ross Corners and they gave us a quote of 5,000-10,000 dollars. We got antibiotics from that vet and she reacted positively to them. We brought her back to Ross Corners and then they gave us a quote of 1,700 to spay her. My husband brought her to Conway and knowing her history and everything they only charged us 737 dollars for spaying and everything that went with her condition which was Pyometra..
