We had a 22 year old cat who's sister was the same age and had been lifetime companions. A week prior, the sister cat had died. By herself, our sweet "Lula" was also suffering from old age, had extreme difficulty walking and had a fungal infection. She was now alone and my wife and I spend many hours trying to comfort her. Within a couple of days, she stopped pooping, limited urinating, didn't want water and would only eat a little baby food. We knew she was unhappy and wanted to avoid a crisis. We called out local vet, Clevenger's Corner Veterinary Hospital and they would not be able to assist us with an in-home euthanasia for over a week's time. We called Companion Paws Mobile Vet Services and left a message. They returned the call and were very kind and helpful. Upon arrival the care, understanding, demeanor, and patience, was WONDERFUL! The procedure was easy, caring, and our Lula purred as she went to sleep. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this veterinary service. A++

Feb 20, 2023 · Chris AycockDr. Foster and David were a godsend for me. My 20 year cat Sassy had seizures and could no longer travel by crate for appointments. I was out of their service range but they fit me in to their schedule to do an exam and bloodwork in April to be able to continue Phenibarbitol. They came again in September when it was time to say goodbye and were very compassionate and understanding. Highly recommend them.

Mar 19, 2024 · Donna O'HaraBeen using Companion Paws for a few years now for our old cats, two of which have kidney issues. Companion Paws meets takes care of all of our needs, including checks and dropping off our ongoing medicine. Dr. Foster is great with the cats, we love the personal service!!! Highly Recommended.
Aug 28, 2019 · Casey TurnerI'm so grateful for Dr. Foster and David for being able to provide their vet services during COVID-19. My family's cat of 17 years had been on her last legs for a while and one Friday, she took an abrupt turn for the worst and we knew it was time. Since our cat got stressed out by going to the vet, I had researched a couple of vets that would do at home euthanasia -- however, none of them were available that day and we didn't want our cat to suffer any longer. We were pointed in the direction of mobile vet services in our area and from there, we found Dr. Foster. Luckily, Dr. Foster was able to schedule an emergency visit to our hosue and was very understanding of our situation and explained the process (COVID-19 considerations and the actual euthanasia) very well. With the help of Dr. Foster and David, our cat passed peacefully and while it was a difficult time for my family, we are grateful that she was able to spend her last moments at home. It is never easy to lose a pet, but there is no doubt in my mind that it was time and the best way to handle it is swiftly and under the best care. Thank you Dr. Foster and David.
