I highly recommend this vet. She is amazing. She squeezed me in at the last minute on a Saturday because my cat wasn't doing well. Her anal glands were Clogged. I lost my other cat to the same thing. They exploded though. She fit me in. Took her time. Was great with my girl and her momma.

Expert care and very affordable! I was so worried about our cat -- I thought for sure he needed surgery! She was able to see him the day I called. After listening to my observations and examining him, Dr Smith knew what was wrong right away, gave us the prescription and even told us when he should feel better. As the days passed, it was exactly as she said. I'm forever grateful. (This type of care is worth the wait!)

I have taken a few different cats here and am always very impressed with the care they receive. Staff is friendly and helpful, and Dr. Smith takes her time with the pets and is very caring and knowledgeable. I trust and highly recommend Companion Animal Clinic.

I moved to Rockford a year ago and this is my new preferred vet clinic. The doctor knows her stuff and really cares about the patient, takes the time to listen to you and examine them to figure out what is going on. Prices are the best in the region, cash or check only, she takes a step by step approach with them instead of loading you up with unnecessary tests. Be aware due to the low cost they are very busy and you will wait, but it is worth it.

Had to make the hard decision to put our almost 12 year old 120lbs+ dog down. I called multiple vets in the area, and no one would see us until I called here. I called and spoke with the vet about what we needed done and why, her only request was that I had someone carry him in and out once it was done which was not a problem and I honestly expected that from any place with such a big dog. I showed up for our appointment and got all needed paperwork filled out and the fee paid before hand. They made the process simple and easier for us, once we got him on the table it was done quickly and we were able to take him home to his final resting place. Without their kindness he would have suffered until I could find somewhere to get him in. He was not a patient of theirs but they knew we needed help and stepped up to help us in our desperate time of need.
