Recently moved to CO and needed to establish a relationship with a veterinary clinic for my two aging dogs. The staff was friendly and listened to my concerns. Community Pet Hospital in Thornton will be my choice for current and future pets.

  • "Recently moved to CO and needed to establish a relationship with a veterinary clinic for my two aging dogs. The staff was friendly and listened to my concerns. Community Pet Hospital in Thornton will be my choice for current and future pets."
  • "We have been going to Community Pet Vet services since 2011 with 4 different dogs. We have always been treated with respect and given the information we need to care for the particular needs of our dogs. We are not locked into one particular vet and have found each one helpful for the needs of our dogs. We receive the senior discount but find that the expense of Community Vet is generally higher than other vets in the area. However, we do like that there is 24/7 care available and emergencies can be worked in as they occur, which is one of the things that keep us coming back. Our latest visit was directly from the dog park due to our beagle acting as if there was a back or neck injury. He was seen in a timely manner and is recovering on meds needed for the injury."

Dr Bruce and the staff (I wished I had gotten everyone's name) were absolutely wonderful. They were so caring when we had to put our dog down. It was such a heart-wrenching time, and everyone was amazing. They even sent a card to us after and had written such kind words about our Daisy. We have been taking our dogs here for many years, and I have struggled at times with some of the vetanarians, but Dr Bruce and Dr Smith are very caring and take the time to listen to you. All of the other staff have been wonderful, very friendly.

From checkup to emergency, Community Pet Hospital is there to help your fur babies! Dr. Borys and other staff take the time to listen to owners and fully check on the animal. We always feel heard and get information that has helped our dog. Both locations are a great fit for our family!

THEY CALLED ANIMAL CONTROL BECAUSE I COULDN'T AFFORD THEM!!! My 9 week old puppy got stuck in the chain link fence and pulled himself free fracturing his jaw. They're the closest 24 hour emergency vet near me so I had no choice but to rush my puppy there. They only care about money. They flat out told me to put him down if I couldn't afford the $2000 - $4000. I couldn't imagine euthanasia for a fractured jaw.. so I went back and forth with the Dr on pricing to give this baby the best shot I could with the budget I have. We got him stitched, bandaged, and his meds for about $1100. I was told to bring him back for a 24 hour checkup to make sure he was doing okay. At this checkup the next day they wanted almost $600 to change his dressing!! I told them no, as long as the tape muzzle is okay until I can get him to another vet I didn't want to do that. She said yes it's good and they gave us more meds which we paid for. She said she wanted to see him back in 3 days. Apparently that wasn't the right thing to do because they called animal control.
