My husband and I drove from Orlando to this vet because they were referred to us. Our dog was diagnosed with bone cancer and we desperately wanted to get treatments started asap. This office and all their staff handled our situation with the utmost compassion and care for our beloved dog. Dr. Bassett spent as much time with us as we needed and has the perfect name for a vet. 😊 I highly recommend this facility for your pets needs.

I was absolutely “wowed” by my experience at CCVS today. We had an oncology consult on my shepherd mix, Sassy. Oncology visits are scary, even for pet-parents like us that have gone through it with other dogs before. To say I was nervous, would be an understatement. Their intake staff at the front desk are so welcoming! After checking in, they had us in a room within 2 minutes. Britt, our veterinary technician, was incredibly thorough, gentle and patient. Her patience was not only extended to Sassy, but also to me. I was a nervous wreck and Britt’s professionalism and empathy really helped soothe my anxiety. Her calm also seemed to instill confidence in Sassy, who was not scared to give Britt a few senior-puppy-breath kisses. đŸ€ Dr. Fox brings light to the room when she enters. You’d think a doctor who literally deals with cancer and death would have a sullen vibe. Nope! She waltzed in with zero fear of what she might be facing. Sassy seemed to picked up on it right away. Dr. Fox received several kisses from Sassy and was greeted with a tail wag every time she entered the room. Dr. Fox knew more about Sassy’s history than I did! After years of dealing with a corporate speciality hospital, I was shocked and grateful that she took the time to actually read Sassy’s very extensive record. All in all, I highly recommend CCVS, especially Dr. Fox and Britt. They work seamlessly as a team and the care they provide demonstrates their skill and dedication to patient care.

What an amazing staff! My dog got one of the absorbent pads that is packaged in with raw chicken out of the garbage and swallowed it whole. It was Thanksgiving night. I called and the employee that I spoke to was friendly and calming. She explained that it was best to get him in while it was still likely in the stomach so they could induce vomiting to bring it back up before it moved further along in the digestive system. We went in and everyone was so welcoming and patient as they explained the process. The procedure was successful and I had my dog back to me within about 1/2 hour. The waiting area was comfortable, the patient rooms are cozy, the people are warm, welcoming, patient, calming, communicative, and competent. What a wonderful emergency vet office. This was a very different experience than I had previously at other locations around town.

I recently received services from CCVS and found it better than expected. I brought my dog in because his bowl movements went from loose to all blood, repeatedly. They were very kind and understanding. Bree was so great with him and Dr. Bassett was kind, gentle and made his suggestions. They showed me what the plan was and really it was reasonable, but I am struggling. So I chose what I could afford. After a few minutes Dr. Bassett came in and understood my situation enough to let me know that my dog wasn’t showing distressed symptoms he would normally see and that if I wanted to watch him overnight and reassess him over the next days, he would be comfortable with it. His honesty was refreshing. Just knowing my dog wasn’t in terrible pain and that his vitals were good, was reassuring. I would highly recommend their services. Wonderful staff! The waiting room was beautiful and clean and bright. The exam room was absolutely perfect; low light, warm, comfortable couch with a rug that my dog immediately laid out on. It was so calming and serene he wasn’t nervous or stressed about being there. I almost didn’t want to leave! Really great place.

This is an excellent vet! My vet had no appointments so they recommended us here for our sick. What lovely, kind people! They were very helpful and fully transparent on cost. Our cat turned out fine, but had she needed surgery I would absolutely trust these vets to handle any emergency. The exam rooms for cats are so well designed- like a little living room. Also they had a lot of snacks and drinks which was a plus while waiting for results.
