The staff at Common Companion in Reynoldstown are wonderful! In particular, Dr. Dunbar and Savannah in reception were very compassionate and communicative. I left my cat in their care for a higher-risk procedure and I received multiple updates through the day on how she was recovering (and again the day after). At the end of the day, I was able to pick up my healthy and happy kitty all thanks to their very competent and compassionate care.

I came here this morning for a same day appointment because my indoor cat got outside, got some minor wounds, and there were signs of infection. I called a couple minutes after they opened and they were able to get us a 10:00 a.m. appointment which I'm very grateful for. The front staff was friendly, the vet tech was super communicative and lovely, and the vet did a good job letting us know our options and her recommendation. The vet was willing to work with us on some of our medication needs because my cat is a big baby about medicine. Overall we had a great experience and I would 100% recommend this vet to others in our same day appointment situation.

We love this location. The biggest benefit for me is that we can walk there. The vets spend a lot of time with us whenever we have a concern and get the full scope and ask questions that no other doctor has. They never try to upsell me on unnecessary tests or supplements. they provide a variety of options for treatment and I can choose what I think is best with their recommendation. After our first visit, the staff packed our meds in a bag. They wrote his name and “the sweetest boy” on it. 🥰

To start, their facility is clean, staff is all friendly, and I love that the vet techs take visible notes on my pets when I am describing a current issue, it makes me feel really heard and like they're not missing anything when they report back to the Vet before seeing us! But, this review is mainly for Dr. Puma who has been treating my cat with outstanding care since he has had urinary and behavioral issues. I have never once felt rushed, talked over, or not cared about. She has a calming presence! She is excellent at explaining her thoughts on treatment options and always tells me the entire variety of what treatments can look like and what level of aggressiveness they are. She makes sure any prescriptions needed are available at my own pharmacy for a good price, and she is always giving my cat good care while he is being examined by her whenever we are in the clinic. If you are considering this practice, I recommend you schedule with Dr. P!
