Horrible customer service, woman who answered the phone didn't even seem to care and blamed me trying to get help for my dog without having to spend a ton of money after I've been out of work for a long time because I shattered my pelvis. She even ASSUMED that I was looking for a "payment plan" when I absolutely never even asked for one!! When I told her why I was searching for affordable vet care she stated "well we dont offer payment plans". Absolutely ridiculous! Why she is their front woman for the company I have no idea!

Welcome to Come Together Animal Clinic
Come Together Animal Clinic, located at 155 Neponset Ave, Boston, MA 02122, USA, functions as a veterinary care provider within the "Pet Hospital" category. This clinic aims to offer services to pet owners in Boston and the surrounding areas. For direct communication, they can be reached via phone at (857) 496-1508 or +1 857-496-1508.
When considering a veterinary care provider, the environment and the nature of the services offered are critical for pet owners. As a facility categorized as a "Pet Hospital," Come Together Animal Clinic would typically be expected to provide a range of general veterinary services. This usually includes routine wellness examinations, vaccinations to protect against common diseases, and preventative care measures such as parasite control. Pet hospitals often offer diagnostic services, which might include in-house laboratory testing for blood work, urinalysis, and fecal analysis, as well as imaging services like X-rays to help diagnose internal conditions. Basic surgical procedures, such as spaying and neutering, and sometimes more complex soft tissue surgeries, are also commonly offered. Dental care, nutritional counseling, and microchipping for pet identification are also standard services provided by such facilities. The environment within a pet hospital is generally designed to be clean and functional, with examination rooms, a waiting area, and spaces for treatment and recovery.
However, customer reviews offer a critical perspective on the operational environment and client experience at Come Together Animal Clinic. Multiple reviews highlight significant concerns regarding customer service and staff interactions. One reviewer describes "horrible customer service" and a front desk woman who "didn't even seem to care." This individual felt blamed for seeking affordable vet care, particularly after facing personal financial hardship, and was erroneously assumed to be looking for a "payment plan" without having asked for one. The reported statement, "well we don't offer payment plans," in response to their explanation of financial need, suggests a lack of empathy and understanding during a sensitive conversation.
Another review echoes these concerns, stating that the "front desk person was extremely rude every time that I talked to her on the phone or front desk." This consistent negative interaction at the first point of contact can significantly impact a client's overall perception of the clinic. The reviewer also detailed an unsettling interaction where the front desk person asked if their dog bites "for no reason," and then condescendingly stated, "honey all dogs bite." Such comments can be perceived as unprofessional and unwelcoming, leading to an uncomfortable experience for pet owners. Furthermore, the reviewer noted that the clinic staff seemed "scared of my dog which stressed her out a lot more," despite the dog waiting patiently without barking or growling. This perception of fear or discomfort from staff towards a pet, especially breeds like Rottweilers mentioned in the review, can create a tense environment and increase stress for the animal.
A particularly serious concern raised in a review is the charging of "$125 for blood work and other stuff that was not done." This accusation of billing for unrendered services is a grave concern that directly impacts trust and financial transparency. Such an issue could lead to significant dissatisfaction and questions about the clinic's billing practices. The overall sentiment expressed is one of profound disappointment and a strong recommendation against bringing pets, especially Rottweilers, to this clinic, despite an initial hope that it "seemed cheaper." The reviewer advises others to "find another vet I promise they are out there!!"
In terms of specific features, based on the provided information, the clinic aims to offer veterinary care, presumably including the standard services expected from a "Pet Hospital" such as examinations, diagnostic tests (like X-rays, as implied by the discussion of blood work and other tests, although the reviewer disputes the completion of some), and potentially basic treatments. However, the prominent features derived from the customer reviews are predominantly negative, highlighting:
- Poor Customer Service: Characterized by rudeness, a lack of empathy, and condescending communication from front desk staff.
- Questionable Billing Practices: Allegations of charging for services not performed.
- Staff Discomfort with Certain Breeds: A perceived fear or nervousness from staff towards specific dog breeds, potentially leading to increased stress for the animals.
- Lack of Financial Flexibility: A clear statement that "we don't offer payment plans" in response to inquiries about affordable care, which might be a critical factor for pet owners facing financial constraints.
Regarding promotional information, the provided data does not include any specific advertisements, discounts, or special offers from Come Together Animal Clinic. Generally, veterinary clinics may promote themselves through various means such as offering new client specials, vaccination packages, or seasonal health drives. However, the reviews suggest that the clinic might be perceived as attempting to offer "cheaper" services, which could be a form of implicit promotion aimed at clients seeking more affordable options. Despite this, the negative experiences reported, particularly concerning billing and customer interaction, could overshadow any perceived cost benefits. Without explicit promotional materials, it is not possible to detail any active campaigns or financial incentives offered by the clinic.
In conclusion, Come Together Animal Clinic in Boston, MA, functions as a veterinary care provider within the "Pet Hospital" category, presumably offering standard veterinary services. However, a significant portion of client feedback indicates severe issues with customer service, including rudeness, a lack of empathy, and alleged questionable billing practices. Concerns about staff interaction with certain dog breeds and a perceived unwillingness to accommodate financial discussions further contribute to a challenging client experience. While the clinic might attract clients seeking more affordable options, the negative experiences reported by multiple individuals raise substantial questions about the overall quality of client care and business management. Prospective pet owners are strongly advised to consider these comprehensive reviews when evaluating Come Together Animal Clinic for their pet's needs.

Apr 10, 2025 · Jennifer BondUnfortunately I would never bring my dog here again. First off, the front desk person was extremely rude every time that I talked to her on the phone or front desk. She asked if my dog bites (for no reason, she wasn’t barking or growling) and I said no and she said in a condescending way “honey all dogs bite”… Secondly, they were also scared of my dog which stressed her out a lot more. My dog waited in the waiting room patiently, didn't bark or growl. I got charged $125 for blood work and other stuff that was not done. It’s disappointing how awful it was… maybe if there was a different front desk lady, it could’ve changed my opinions. I’m done with the condescending lectures when I’m not even doing anything… I hate to write a bad review but this experience called for it. DON’T bring your rotties here… I was hopefully because it seemed cheaper… find another vet I promise they are out there!!

Oct 05, 2024 · GWM CruzI recently had my kitten neutered at Come Together Animal Clinic, and I am extremely pleased with the service I received. The staff was incredibly helpful and attentive throughout the process, making sure that my cat received the best care possible. The procedure was very affordable, and my cat's recovery was quick and smooth. He was back to his playful self in no time, jumping around just a day after the surgery. I highly recommend this clinic to anyone who is looking for affordable and high-quality care for their furry friends.
