In a very unassuming space not all visually pristine or decorated with the latest renovations of over priced offices is a Vet who loves the animals, and knows how to care for them well without trying to upsell or sneak in items, treatments or otherwise to drive up the bill visit… fairly priced, knowledgeable w/a nice bed side manner and I can see the passion she has for her patients care as she was literally fighting through her own physical pain to be on site to care for our pets when I was there beginning of June for my Frenchie that had a sinus infection & needed his heartworm titer. I think Dr. Walsh is wonderful & my fur baby was better within days of being treated by her…. Bottom Line: Don’t Judge a book by it’s cover —it’s a small office not all supped up in Led Lights, with a flat screen TV and videos in the waiting room… But the care is wonderful, & the prices were very reasonable, which personally, I think is a testament to her decency & this office deserves your patronage if your animals are needing care. Located right next to a Starbucks on 9th ave between 59/60th.

Welcome to Columbus Circle Veterinary Hospital

For pet owners in Singapore seeking reliable and fairly priced veterinary care, Columbus Circle Veterinary Hospital presents itself as an option to consider. Operating under the category of a "Pet Hospital," it aims to provide a range of medical services to ensure the health and well-being of your beloved animal companions. While specific details about the clinic's environment are limited in the provided information, one customer review offers a glimpse, describing it as a "very unassuming space not all visually pristine or decorated with the latest renovations." This suggests a focus on the quality of care rather than opulent aesthetics, which for some pet owners, may be a reassuring sign that resources are directed towards patient well-being rather than extravagant overheads.

The services offered at Columbus Circle Veterinary Hospital, as a Pet Hospital, likely encompass a broad spectrum of veterinary care. These typically include routine wellness examinations, vaccinations, parasite prevention, diagnostic procedures such as blood work and imaging (though specifics aren't detailed), treatment for illnesses and injuries, and potentially surgical procedures. One positive review mentions treatment for a French Bulldog's sinus infection and the administration of a heartworm titer, indicating the hospital's capacity to handle both routine and more specific health concerns. The fact that a pet was reported to be "better within days of being treated" suggests effective and timely medical intervention.

A significant feature highlighted in one of the positive reviews is the perceived dedication and passion of the veterinarian, Dr. Walsh. The reviewer noted that Dr. Walsh was "literally fighting through her own physical pain to be on site to care for our pets," illustrating a strong commitment to her patients. Furthermore, this customer appreciated the absence of upselling or unnecessary treatments, emphasizing the fair pricing and the focus on genuine care. This suggests a practice philosophy centered on ethical and responsible veterinary medicine, which can be a crucial factor for pet owners seeking trustworthy healthcare for their animals.

Another notable feature mentioned in the positive feedback is the reasonable pricing of services. The reviewer explicitly stated that the prices were "very reasonable," which they saw as "a testament to her decency." In a city like Singapore, where the cost of pet care can be a concern for many, a veterinary hospital known for its fair pricing can be a valuable resource for the local community. This affordability, coupled with the reported quality of care, makes Columbus Circle Veterinary Hospital a potentially attractive option for budget-conscious pet owners who do not want to compromise on their pet's health.

It is important to acknowledge that the provided information also includes a negative review detailing significant concerns about the staff's rudeness and irresponsibility, as well as the doctor's alleged unresponsiveness regarding lab results. This customer reported a frustrating experience involving delayed information and a perceived lack of follow-through after being charged for services. Additionally, the reviewer mentioned a neighbor who also switched vets after a few visits. This negative feedback presents a contrasting perspective and highlights potential issues with the administrative and communication aspects of the practice. It is crucial for prospective clients to consider both the positive and negative feedback when making their decision.

Considering the location mentioned in one positive review – "right next to a Starbucks on 9th ave between 59/60th" – while the address provided is on Columbus Ave, this suggests a potentially convenient location for some residents in the area. However, since the target audience is local users in Singapore, this specific location detail from a New York review might not be directly relevant. It's important for the introduction to focus on the services and care provided, which could be beneficial to pet owners in Singapore, regardless of the original clinic's location.

Given the conflicting reviews, it is challenging to present definitive promotional information. However, the positive review implicitly promotes Columbus Circle Veterinary Hospital as a place where pets receive knowledgeable and compassionate care from a dedicated veterinarian at a fair price. The negative review, conversely, serves as a cautionary note regarding potential issues with staff responsiveness and communication. For local users in Singapore, the key takeaway is that Columbus Circle Veterinary Hospital is described by one customer as prioritizing animal welfare over superficial aesthetics, offering fairly priced services, and having a seemingly dedicated veterinarian. However, the serious concerns raised in the negative review regarding staff behavior and communication cannot be ignored and should be considered by potential clients.

In conclusion, Columbus Circle Veterinary Hospital, while originally located in New York, offers insights into a practice model that could be relevant to pet owners in Singapore. It is portrayed by one reviewer as a "Pet Hospital" where the focus is on providing good care at reasonable prices, driven by a veterinarian who is passionate about animals. The unassuming environment is presented as a trade-off for affordability and quality of treatment. However, the significant negative feedback concerning staff issues and lack of communication raises important considerations. For local users in Singapore, this information suggests the importance of thorough research and potentially seeking additional reviews or testimonials if considering a similar veterinary service. The core message from the positive feedback is the potential for compassionate and fairly priced care from a dedicated veterinarian, while the negative feedback underscores the need for reliable and responsive service from the entire clinic staff.

I do not recommend this place. The staff is rude and irresponsible, and the doctor is unresponsive. After a week of calls asking about my dog’s lab results and being told they aren’t ready yet, I found out the bloodwork had been ready the same day it was analyzed. The staff simply didn’t want to check and confirm. I was very concerned for my pet and the fact that the vet charged me hundreds of dollars to analyze bloodwork and then never did. Her job is infuriating. I’m a real customer with the real experience and I hope this helps someone stay away from this place. A neighbor also switched vets after a few visits to Dr. Walsh. Simply put don’t do business with them. There are way better vets in the area.

Dr. Walsh is the best. She is very experienced and knowledgeable and fairly priced. No other vet I’ve seen has been able to properly help my elderly cat. My cat also tends to be very grumpy with vets, but Dr. Walsh’s calm demeanor puts her at ease. Highly recommend!!

I really urge you not to listen to the negative reviews of a few people. Dr. Walsh is really wonderful. She is upfront, informative, and truly listens. I called her office at 1230 on a Friday to get an appointment for my golden retriever and they squeezed me right in at 2! I had just moved to the city about 2 weeks prior and didn’t have a vet in the area. My golden puppy started limping out of no where and I was really concerned. Anyways, I bring her in at 2, Dr. Walsh spent over an hour sitting with me, getting her history and listening to her problem. I never once felt rushed, she did a full exam on my dog, well over 15 minutes ranging her legs to check for pain. She sent me home with doggy Advil and strict precautions to rest my dog. She never pushed unnecessary tests or imaging on me and was truly looking out for my and my dogs best interests. I was so happy with my experience I came home to write this review first thing. Go see Dr. Walsh if your furry one needs a little extra TLC, you won’t be sorry!

We are moving to Brooklyn and couldn't be more excited about our new place. The most difficult part of this move is that we will no longer have Dr. Walsh and her amazing team taking care of our girl Lady. This picture was from today Lady's last visit for a check up and vaccinations. They have always been so kind, thorough, and attentive! When we brought Lady to them 2 years ago, she had uncontrollable allergies which resulted in multiple paw infection. Her paws were swollen and bleeding. Through calculated trial and error, Dr. Walsh was able to properly treat and manage her allergies. Before doing anything, Dr. Walsh helps me understand what needs to be done, how it will be done, and different options if applicable. I never felt more confident that Lady was in good hands. Our dog is easy going and gets along with everyone but you can tell she is comfortable with the team at Columbus Circle. They even coined a new nickname for her! Big Lady! When calling I'd say, "Hi, this is big Lady's mom calling for ____". The response was always "Awe! Yes! Big Lady! How can we help?" I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Walsh and her team! She is one of the most highly educated, experienced, and specialized veterinarians in New York. Thank you so much for taking such good care of our baby!
