Dr. Consales and the rest of the team at Colony Veterinary are awesome! Everyone is so friendly and accommodating. I felt like they really cared about my dog and were always able to squeeze him in when he needed something. They are also transparent in treatment plans and costs. I’m sure there are cheaper vets out there, but here you are getting a fantastic deal for the quality of service. Sir Reginald and I are truly grateful for the care they provide(d). A million thanks!

I had two appointments for my pet at this clinic, on January 3 and January 16. During the first visit, I paid for a full check-up, expecting a thorough examination. However, I was deeply disappointed with the care provided. Despite paying $700 over the course of 1.5 weeks, my pet was not properly examined. Basic checks such as temperature, ears, and skin were completely ignored. The doctor simply talked to me while holding her folder without performing any meaningful evaluation. On top of that, they charged me for Apoquel and Cytopoint, which did nothing to help my pet. After these ineffective treatments, they asked if I could bring him back for a skin inspection—something that should have been done during the initial visit. This is very bad practice, and I wouldn’t recommend this clinic to anyone. It felt like a complete waste of time and money, with no real concern for my pet’s well-being.

I called to get simparica pill from them. They said I need to come in. No other information. I had to pay $77 for a check up. They just looked at his weight and fur and offered me a bunch of treatments for $486 when I just needed a flea pill. After all I found out that I need to get a prescription from them and go look for the pill somewhere else. I visited two pharmacies and both were either closed or didn’t have the pill. I’ll be driving to other pharmacies today because you have to wait almost a week to get the pill online. Don’t waste your money and go to Banfield pet hospital. They’re amazing. We used to go there but decided to try this clinic since we just moved to this area and the colony vet hospital is near us now. My dog is very sensitive to fleas and as soon as he gets them he develops a bad allergy. I had no idea that the process will take that long with this clinic and that I’ll have to pay $77 for nothing. You should be transparent with your clients from the beginning. If I knew I would’ve driven to Banfield yesterday because I needed the pill asap.

This was supposed to be our temporary vet hospital until we could get a vet at a different location, but we ended up liking this spot so much we're still here! The vets we've met with are incredibly kind and helpful, even so far as to making recommendations that would lose them money! We'll be sticking with Colony Vet for as long as we are living in the area.

I have been bringing my sweet 4 year old pittie here for 3 years and a few things keep me coming back: Kindest staff Patient and clear explanations of the problem and potential treatment paths Clear love for the animals Nonjudgmental problem solving Obviously it’s hard to get a dog to like the vet but they’re always so kind and gentle with her
