Normally I would not leave a review but I feel like I have to. I went to Coffey a little over a month ago because my dog had this awful rash on him. Nothing I was doing was making it better. It seemed to be an allergic reaction but I did not know what to. So I took him in. First issue Coffey herself never actually came in and spoke with me. They kept taking my dog out of the room to look at him. I could hear Coffey and also saw her at the desk when I first walked in but she never spoke directly to me. Whatever at that point I get it she’s busy. The assistant was looking at my dog and every single question she asked was related to fleas and allergies. I answered to the best of my ability. I also mentioned he is a very anxious dog and I wondered if that may have anything to do with him chewing his skin like that. They take my dog out again, do tests. Come back to tell me that my dog has a possible life ending disease that I had never heard of. That just so happened to be connected with stress levels or something like that. Told me they needed to give him a test that cost nearly $500 on top of the $140 they charged me that day. Told me my dog would die if we didn’t get it under control. MIND YOU the only questions asked before this point was about the detergent I used and the flea medicine I use. They also claimed his cortisol levels were a little off and that somehow led to this deadly disease!! I had literally told them my dog is naturally anxious and they took him out of the room away from me to do tests. He was SCARED! Of course his stress levels would be wonky. I was hysterical at this point. The assistant couldn’t even properly explain the disease to me. Coffey still NEVER came in to talk to me herself. I took my dog to red barn, he gave him some antibiotics and ointment…the rash is basically gone. I don’t know if they wanted a money grab or just had no idea what was wrong with him. Just be careful. I personally would never take another animal there and if you do please get a second opinion before throwing away a bunch of money.

Apr 22, 2025 · Makiya WeaverWe took our cat (who usually does not do well with new people) for an emergency vet visit which ended up being overnight stay. We got to pick him up the next morning and everything went perfect. Everyone at Coffey’s was super compassionate, they explained his treatment plan as well as the cost, and they were very gentle and patient with him. We would recommend this vet 100x to anyone, especially to anyone who might have an anxious pet!
Feb 18, 2025 · McKenzie TaylorWe took our dog in for minor surgery at 9am on 12/20/24. Per doctors order, we gave him no food or water after midnight...which was not a big deal as he usually eats his evening meal around 7pm. Because of the anesthesia he was going to have to stay overnight. When we took him in, we were told we could call about 4pm this evening to check on him after his surgery. However, when we called we found out that he had not yet had his surgery, and had been locked in a cage the entire day...still without food or water. This so-called "Veterinarian" allowed a senior dog to go without food for 22 hours and without water for more than for more than 16 hours...which in my opinion, is nothing short of intentional and outright neglect. Needless to say, I immediately got in the truck and went to pick him up, and NEVER AGAIN will I take my dog to these people.
Dec 21, 2024 · Jim BoydReception is rude. Smells really bad. Reception girl got mad when we told her poop was on the floor. High levels of ammonia in the air. Prepare to not be able to breathe. Vet was nice though.
Dec 27, 2024 · Sheri WatsonThe receptionist was very friendly and professional. The vet was very gentle and compassionate with my dog, Max. I will be coming back! A 5 star experience!
