Thank you Dr. Stevens for everything you and your staff did to save my boys. I personally had a good experience from the moment I walked into the door. Facility was easy to find, friendly, compassionate, clean, and welcoming. I know how tough the job is that you all do everyday. I know as a pet owner and as a previous vet assistant. Thank you for keeping me updated and helping me along the way even when that meant making the hardest decision as an owner. I know now I did the right thing, I gave it my all, and you did all you could for my babies. I will definitely recommend you when I can. Thank you all again and I wish you all the best! -Brittany and Lance -Dixon -Tater Tot 🌈 💙

I have recently moved to the area and prior to this have visited a number of different animal urgent cares through the years. Those experiences ranged from Luke warm to absolutely horrible treatment of animal and owner that I wouldn't have believed if I wasn't the one living it. C.A.R.E absolutely blew all of them out of the water. The absolute BEST experience I have ever had. From the first phone call to (hopefully) our last contact their staff has gone above and beyond the level of care I would expect a busy office to give. They took time to make my young herding breed pup feel more comfortable and her first time away from me for medical help low stress for both of us. I know I can be a bit of an overly involved owner with many odd questions but not once did they make me feel like a burden. I hope I don't need their services again, but if I do, they will be the first urgent facility I run to every time. Side note to anyone who may still be reading. Get pet insurance before soemthing happens! They have my girl covered and it was so nice being able to use it. Thank you thank you thank you so very much to all their desk, tech, and vet staff. You are all appreciated so much more than you know. I also very much appreciate being given honest reports on how my young dog was handling the situation so we have things to work on desensitizing to make any future medical visits even more relaxed for her.

Update: Our poor guy didnt make it but we were able to bring him into CARE and Dr.Moin was with us every step of the way. Thank you for all of the team for making us feel like we were not leaving out baby to be alone, thank you for not making us feel like there were regrets or what if or what more can we do. Thank you for being there, thank you for loving our boy too. Ill try to make this short. The staff has been wonderful, we are so grateful for them being able to take our baby and treat him as soon as possible. a huge thanks to Dr.Moin. Our dog Mooley was sick last month with a fever and shaking. We had no idea what was going on and took him to our local vet multiple times with indications pointing toward infection but nothing more. with the second blood test they were worried about kidney/liver issues so they refered us to Care. When we got there they were able to do a quick ultrasound and it was not very helpful since they thought things looked larger then they should. There were alot of what ifs and it could possibly be. The only option was to keep him over night for a more in depth ultrasound. We agreed. After the more in depth his organs were just fine for a basset hound. We were still left in the dark. We did a chest xray just incase and that was alot just fine. still in the dark, not from the staff just from what could it be. Diagnosing a patient that cant talk is the most difficult job in the world. That morning when we went over to feed him Dr.Moin told us she looked at his chart and noticed his blood platelet count was off. She suggested auto immune testing and a extensive tick panel. We agreed. They wanted to keep him another night but that was just not in the budget. They were able to run more testing and all signs point toward auto immune. Our boy is still fighting but we are so thankful and gratful for the wonderful service they provided with steps we could take to get into the right direction. Thank you for saving our dog. Thank you for all the staff taking our calls and comunicating with us even after that night answering the many questions that still pop into out head. We appriciate you all.

Most caring and knowledgeable people I’ve ever met! If I could give 1000000 stars I would! We just moved to the area and little Mia got sooo sick, Kendal was incredible with helping us through this and getting her the care she needed. Highly recommend!

My dog sadly got attacked by one of her friends. After calling 10 emergency vets in Richmond, I was finally directed to this vet. They automatically told me to bring her in and they’d take her as soon as we got there. I remember running in with my boyfriend who was carrying her and the ladies behind the desk go “is this Daisy” and rushed her back. They got her on pain management, she was missing a whole chunk out of her front right leg and several other puncture wounds on her body. Within thirty minutes a vet came into our waiting room telling us their plan and we just told them to do whatever was needed. When we went to pick her up the following evening, I was so impressed with how they repaired her leg. They gave us such detailed instructions on care for the next few weeks. She has so many stitches and a drainage tube. But dang did they do an impeccable job! It’s only been three days since the surgery and I’m still so impressed. The point of this is, the staff is FANTASTIC and the vets can do a banging job with severe wound repair. Thank you all so much!
