Boyfriend and I took our first kitten into the vet yesterday and she got her full wellness exam with blood testing fecal float she got all of her vaccines (has to come back for boosters in three weeks) all the staff loved her to bits she's such a sweet kitty. But I highly recommend this vet to anyone that can actually afford it (I know the struggle) they're great staff clean building gave me great information tips and tricks for first kitty owners and they even sent her home with a little baggy of treats and the cutest little bandana ever!

My 10 yr old dog was puking all night. Took him into this vet/hospital which was 100$ for an emergency appt, not terrible. But this price is just to be seen in between OTHER appointments. I thought “it’s better to be seen than not at all”. The vet tech examined him and then made up a price of about 500$. (Blood work, temp check, heart worm test, and a set of x rays). They do the blood work and then bring him back to the room with me. Vet tech and dr come in and suggest he stays there bc it would be some time before he’s done and didn’t want me waiting there in the office the whole time. (Didn’t mention the cost would be extra for the stay). They call me and we go over the X-rays, they say more X-rays are suggested of his “enlarged heart” for a price of 170$ extra. I decline. (I cannot afford to dish out that much all at once). Pick up time is 2:30pm. I get there right at 2:30. Waiting. Waiting. 2:50pm and there’s no doctor coming. “Oh we’re so sorry there are other emergency appointments like yours”. We will bring your dog and get you checked out. 618$ is the new total. Huh? I asked for an itemized receipt, they hand it over. The “hospitalization” cost extra, meds I didn’t consent to were given and on the receipt, and the vet tech lied to me about the “price work up”. Sure they’re nice to your animal but they make sure to squeeze and overcharge. I Didn’t get to see the doctor to go over any treatment plan, or go over the X-rays or blood work. OVER PRICED AND UNDER CUSTOMER SERVICE.

My family had to put to rest our 19 year old yorkie Mason this month, and although we saw it coming due to his age and decline, there is never enough time. Clio Animal Hospital did a wonderful job and made sure the experience was comfortable for both our very loved family member and us. Thank you for your compassion during the most painful part of life.

Take your animal anywhere else!!! We took our dog last year because of very minor situation with his elbow filling with fluid due to laying on hard surfaces too much. By the time they ran a bunch of completely unnecessary tests on him which never included actually taking a culture or anything 2 complete rounds of antibiotics that we informed them want helping after the first round. And when they finally did a culture of his wound after it finally busted open on its own it was too late. My dog died before the results even came back from the culture. But when the results did come back then they told us that the antibiotic that I suggested to them in the first place would have actually been the appropriate one after all. I'm sure it's just a coincidence that the first day antibiotic that we were given was significantly more expensive than the correct one actually was. So instead of a spending money on a culture we spent a bunch more money on unnecessary antibiotics and some other fish tank cleaning stuff that they swore we should clean his wound with. And about 4 days before I was able to take him in for the last appointment I called them crying begging them to help my dog but because I didn't have any money on that day they refused to even see me. So now I've paid them about $2,000 and they killed my dog. Thank you very much for your help. I still cry to this day because of losing my Teddy boy. He was the sweetest little guy in the world and did not deserve to have to suffer like that. I sat up for days and nights in a row for weeks trying to get that little guy back to good. Only to have all of that just let to me having to say goodbye. All because of what started out as just a swollen elbow. Something that by all accounts should have been quite easy to take care of. And definitely should not have led to his death. This place is obviously more concerned about the money than they are about helping animals or their owners.

My bunny is lucky to have the staff at this veterinary office on his side. They saved his life and we appreciate everything they've done for us.
