Cleveland Heights Animal Hospital

I brought my new puppy here for a first visit. I was beyond impressed with the facility and staff, from the time I called for an appointment until the time I left the building. Everyone I encountered was friendly, compassionate and professional. The care received was thorough and in line price wise with other veterinarians. I have used other practices in the area over many years and I have found this one to be exemplary. It was like a doctor visit for myself! Highly recommend this practice!.

Took my Rescue pup Gus in today due to an emergency and switched vets to them almost immediately. Their ability to see him quickly, the beautiful facility and friendly and knowledgeable staff were everything. Great prices as well. 10/5 stars! Highly recommend & am So thankful for these Angels.

I initially brought my 6-month-old puppy, R🤍XY, to Cleveland Heights Animal Clinic for shots and an ID chip. The staff was friendly, and things started off great. However, we noticed R🤍XY favoring her back left leg, limping, and being slow to get up. I mentioned this during the visit and was informed there would be an additional charge for a vet consultation, which I was fine with. Dr. Houghton examined her leg briefly and prescribed an anti-inflammatory medication. When they followed up to check on her progress, I let them know the medication hadn’t worked, and the issue was the same. When I called back to discuss it, the person I spoke with was dismissive, interrupting me repeatedly. Eventually, I lost my patience and told her to shut up, which she clearly took offense to. It’s frustrating because they now suggest we proceed with X-rays to figure out the problem. I asked what happened to the $100 I already paid for the first visit, which resulted in no diagnosis or improvement. I was essentially told the process of elimination would continue, but at my expense. I regret bringing my puppy here. I expect professional answers, not a guessing game that costs me more money each time. If the issue requires further diagnostics like X-rays, that should have been recommended from the start. Instead, I’m left feeling like they’re more interested in profit than in actually helping my pet. I would not recommend Cleveland Heights Animal Clinic based on this experience.

My review initially posted prior to me completing it. My dog adores Cleveland Heights Animal Hospital. I use them for boarding and she is always so well taken care of. 5 stars for sure. I always prefer to use a animal hospital to board my dog in case something goes wrong. There is always somebody around if something is in need. I’ve noticed it’s typically a lot safer and works best for my pets needs.!!!!

Always been very happy with their service but this past week we boarded our cats for about a week we came back were told that one of our cats had diarrhea. About 3 days prior The problem is they didn't even bother to clean her up she still had poop all over her tail and her legs I feel like they could have at least wiped her off with a wet nap very unhappy. They should treat animals that they've been entrusted with better than that After I posted this review Cleveland Heights got in touch Us and apologized and comped our cats stay We appreciate the customer service
