Welcome to Claws and Paws 4 a Cause
Welcome to Claws and Paws 4 a Cause, a dedicated Pet Hospital located in Knoxville, Tennessee, committed to providing essential veterinary care with a strong emphasis on community welfare. Situated at 4109 Asheville Hwy, Knoxville, TN 37914, USA, our facility strives to offer accessible and affordable services to pet owners in the local area. At Claws and Paws 4 a Cause, we understand the importance of your pets' health and well-being and aim to provide quality care in a supportive environment.
Our primary focus is on providing crucial services such as spay and neuter procedures. We recognize the significant role these services play in controlling pet overpopulation and promoting the overall health of individual animals. By offering affordable spay and neuter options, we aim to make these essential procedures accessible to a wider range of pet owners in the Knoxville community. This commitment extends to both owned pets and feral cat populations, as reflected in the experiences shared by our clients.
According to a recent customer review, their kitty Lottie experienced a successful healing process following a procedure at our facility, with no complications. The reviewer also highlighted the affordability of our services and the helpfulness and friendliness of our staff. This positive feedback underscores our dedication to providing effective care at a reasonable price, ensuring that pet owners can access the necessary treatments for their beloved animals without facing excessive financial strain. Our team is committed to creating a positive and supportive experience for every pet and their owner who walks through our doors.
In addition to our spay and neuter services, Claws and Paws 4 a Cause also extends its care to the often-overlooked feral cat population. We understand the challenges involved in managing feral cat colonies and the importance of population control through Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) programs. Our facility has been a resource for individuals dedicated to helping feral cats in the Knoxville area, providing a much-needed service to address this community concern. We appreciate the efforts of those who work tirelessly to trap and bring feral cats in for spay and neuter, contributing to a more humane and balanced environment for both the animals and the community.
However, it is important to present a balanced perspective based on all available information. One customer shared a negative experience regarding appointment flexibility for feral cats. This review mentioned difficulties in rescheduling appointments for trapping feral cats and expressed disappointment with the facility's policies in such situations. While this feedback highlights an area where expectations may not have been met, it is crucial to consider that managing appointments, especially for feral animals which can be unpredictable to capture, presents unique logistical challenges for any veterinary facility. Policies regarding appointment cancellations and rescheduling are often in place to ensure efficient scheduling and resource allocation for all patients.
At Claws and Paws 4 a Cause, our team is comprised of individuals who are passionate about animal welfare. We strive to create a caring and professional environment where pets receive the attention and treatment they need. While the available reviews primarily focus on spay and neuter services, it is important to understand that these procedures are fundamental to preventative veterinary care and contribute significantly to the health and well-being of the animal population. Our commitment to affordability aims to remove financial barriers that might prevent pet owners from accessing these essential services.
Our location at 4109 Asheville Hwy in Knoxville provides a convenient point of access for residents in the surrounding areas seeking affordable spay and neuter options. We encourage local pet owners and those involved in feral cat rescue to reach out to us to learn more about our services and how we can assist in their efforts. Our phone number, (865) 385-0780 or +1 865-385-0780, is available for inquiries and appointment scheduling.
As a Pet Hospital with a cause, we are driven by the desire to make a positive impact on the lives of animals in our community. While we may face operational constraints, as highlighted in the mixed feedback, our core mission remains focused on providing affordable and essential veterinary services, particularly spay and neuter, to promote animal health and control pet overpopulation in Knoxville. We continuously strive to improve our services and ensure that we are a valuable resource for pet owners and animal advocates in the region.

Jan 12, 2025 · girlyg 75I've brought almost a dozen feral cats to be fixed to this facility and also donated money to their cause. Feral cats are not easy to catch, and I've had to cancel 2 appointments, so I don't get another chance. This cat will have to be put down because Claws and Paws 4 their own convenience won't help him.
May 01, 2025 · Abby HillmanThe lady working the reception area in Roane County was rude and judgemental. She started out calling my Bluetick fat (she isnt fat - she just had a litter of puppies in February), then lectured me that she needed to be spayed, criticized me.for using lowcost clinic, and then told me my dog's puppies would end up in pound. When I told her I was responsible and was finding good homes for all my pups her remark was I've heard that before. Bless her heart...i hope she is spayed.
May 20, 2025 · David COPLEYGot my ~5 month of kitten neutered here and they did an excellent job! He healed very well and they great care of him! He also got his nails trimmed and his rabies vaccine all at very decent prices! I would highly recommend them.
Dec 29, 2024 · Izzy PeotBrought our 6 month old kitten to be neutered, handled professionally and clean surgery, fast healing and no problems. Affordable costs also.
