Clarendon Animal Care

I cannot recommend Clarendon Animal Care enough. They are kind, smart, compassionate, flexible, creative, and thoughtful. We’ve never had a bad experience with any of the vets, techs, or front desk staff. They genuinely care about you and your pets and do everything in their power to keep them happy and healthy. Juniper has seen Dr. Fitzgerel her whole life and we’re so thankful he and the team at Clarendon Animal Cate are part of our support family. Thank you!

When we moved to Arlington, we were looking for a new veterinarian. At the time of my search, I read about a new Clarendon Animal Care (CAC) opened by two local women, so I made an appointment. After our first visit with Dr. Gloor, I knew we had found the perfect place for our sensitive pup! Through the years we have met so many awesome doctors, vet techs, and office staff at CAC (both North and South locations). We appreciated the commitment to top notch care, the attention to the details, and the clean environment. After every visit, we would receive a summary of the appointment and next steps. I don’t think we ever had an appointment where we didn’t have a follow-up call to check-in on how our Bella was doing and/or summarize lab results. I also appreciated the online portal and having access to the appointment history. When Bella’s health required a specialist, we had to visit a different veterinarian’s office (this other office left a lot to be desired). I found myself comparing the level of care to CAC. CAC was indeed the gold standard. Thank you CAC team for your kindness through the years and for helping our pup be her best!

We have been taking Diego here his whole life! He's always received the best care from the team. He's eating well after having a bunch of teeth removed and not having any more mouth pains. Merry Christmas 🎄

My dog, Finn, had to have an unexpected surgery to remove a few mast cell tumors a few weeks ago. Dr. Carr and the entire team at CAC north were so supportive through the entire process. Their compassion and kindness made the process as easy as it could possibly be given the circumstances. Finn and I are so lucky to have found you all when we moved to the area three years ago!

CAC North wasn’t our first vet, but I’m so glad I made the switch (even though the location isn’t the most convenient to us, which reflects just how worth it is to go out of our way). My dog is always excited to be there thanks to their practice of fear free care. I joke that she probably gets sick every so often just to have visits. We see Dr. Gottlieb, who is always amazing and patient. However, we’ve also had to see other doctors in urgent care situations and the other doctors have also been great. They also have a travel coordinator who helps walk through steps/requirements for traveling abroad and it was extremely helpful when planning our trip. I honestly can’t say enough good things about the whole CAC-North team.
