Recently I had to take my best buddy Charlie to citywide animal clinic because of his inability to bear weight on his back paws. From Matt (who answered the phone) and got me an appointment a.s.a.p to Dr. Braudaway, to the vet tech ( who's name i did not get or remember) they were nothing but professional and courteous. Unfortunately the outcome was not good. As I continued to grieve 2 days later I received a sympathy card from the facility which made me feel somewhat better. Citywide does not only care and show compassion to the animals entrusted to their care but the families who are left to hold precious memories of their fur babies. Thank you, Marsha Junz

Citywide Animal Clinic falls under the "Pet Hospital" category, indicating its capacity to offer a range of medical services for animals. This classification suggests that the clinic is equipped to handle various veterinary needs, from routine health check-ups to addressing more immediate health concerns.
While specific details about the interior design or waiting areas are not extensively provided in public information, the clinic's environment appears to be focused on providing professional and courteous service. Customer reviews highlight the helpfulness of the staff, from those answering phones to the veterinary technicians and doctors. The compassionate care extends beyond the animals to their families, particularly during difficult times. This suggests an environment where empathy and client support are prioritized, aiming to make challenging situations as manageable as possible for pet owners. The staff's professionalism and courtesy are consistent themes in positive feedback.
The services offered at Citywide Animal Clinic encompass a spectrum of veterinary care. Based on customer experiences, these services include:
General Veterinary Consultations: Addressing various pet health concerns, as evidenced by a client bringing their dog for an inability to bear weight.
Diagnosis and Treatment: The clinic aims to diagnose and address the health issues presented by pets, working towards the best possible outcome.
Professional and Courteous Staff Interaction: From scheduling appointments quickly to handling animals gently, the staff is noted for their professionalism and courteous demeanor.
Compassionate End-of-Life Support: A significant aspect highlighted by a customer review is the clinic's empathy and support during difficult times, such as when a pet's outcome is not favorable. The sending of a sympathy card demonstrates their concern for the grieving families.
Vaccinations and Basic Care: Although not explicitly detailed in all reviews, the mention of "shots" for puppies indicates that basic preventative care, such as vaccinations, is provided.
A key feature of Citywide Animal Clinic, as evidenced by customer testimonials, is their commitment to compassionate care not only for the animals but also for their human families. The personal touch of sending a sympathy card after a difficult loss deeply resonated with a grieving pet owner, illustrating the clinic's understanding of the bond between pets and their families. This level of empathy indicates a practice that values emotional support as much as medical treatment, particularly during sensitive situations. The staff's efforts to provide a smooth and supportive experience, even in challenging circumstances, underscore their dedication to client well-being.
However, it is also important to consider all available feedback for a balanced perspective. One review highlights a different experience, focusing on a financial disagreement related to a puppy adoption by a vet at the clinic. This customer felt that the clinic, or at least one of its veterinarians, prioritized monetary concerns over fostering long-term client relationships or offering a fair exchange, especially given the context of a free puppy adoption. The client also perceived an attempt to portray them negatively in medical records due to the dispute. This indicates that while many find the clinic to be compassionate, individual experiences can vary, particularly when financial aspects or personal exchanges are involved. This feedback suggests that clients should ensure clear communication and understanding regarding financial arrangements and expectations for services.
In terms of promotional information, Citywide Animal Clinic primarily promotes itself through its professional and compassionate care. The positive testimonials, particularly those emphasizing empathy during difficult times, serve as strong word-of-mouth promotion, attracting clients who value emotional support alongside medical expertise. While specific deals or discounts are not publicly detailed, the overall message focuses on being a caring and supportive veterinary partner. Prospective clients can reach out via phone at (570) 489-5208 or +1 570-489-5208 to inquire about their services and schedule appointments. The clinic's commitment to responsiveness, as seen in getting appointments ASAP for urgent cases, also acts as an implicit promotional point, indicating a dedication to timely care.

Jan 21, 2025 · Horror BriI would not use them ever again. My dog had puppies i had found homes for all but the last girl. The vet said she would love to take her home. Being a animal lover and thinking what better home could the pup have than with a vet. I gave the vet the pup. I asked if she could trade the pup for getting the mother fixed she said no. Ok how about a discount again no. Because she does not own the practice. But she received the puppy for free. While I had to pay for the shots, food, register with akc, and pay for advertising. It seems that out of the two of us one is more concerned about making money than the animals. They also made sure to put in the medical records that I chose to change vets due to lack of discount. In a attempt to paint me in a bad light. I sold every pup from that litter and could of sold her too in order to pay for the mother to get fixed. I did not ask the vet to take her she asked me for the pup and put on a whole thing about how it was her birthday. I have no doubt that the pup is living a good life with her which is why I allowed her to keep the pup. She could have at least reimburse me for the shots I paid for at her clinic. I have 4 dogs 2 cats. It would have been wiser to keep me happy and as a customer. I didn't want something for nothing they did and got it and I got the bill.
Mar 11, 2025 · Marcel GeslickiWe took our dog Ranger to the clinic. He was very ill and getting ready to die. The Doctor checked him and found he was in trouble. Heart racing, trouble breathing and everything else. She gave us options but told us we could decide what to do. But she felt that he was not going to get better. He was suffering. We knew the time was coming because he wasn't himself. We put him to rest. They were so kind to us while we cried and spent some time with Ranger to say Goodbye. They sent us a sympathy card with Ranger's footprint on it. I cried and put it in our Bible to save.
