This is an amazing veterinary hospital. I had a few visits with them and have found them to handle everything with care. When i arrived to DC, my dog, Tracy, was already 16 with a few senior problems. The first visit I had was for a pet travel certificate, and while it can be a little pricey (though this was the cheapest of options), they handled everything very well and reassured me of every part of the process. Unfortunately, my next visit was for an end of life discussion. While i am still grieving from the loss of my baby, they handled everything with care. The staff were extremely kind and delicate with this process. The sendoff they provided was beautiful. Thank you again for everything.

Sep 10, 2024 · Alix GlaenzerWe were moving and my cat needed a health certificate for travel. Called around several offices and happened upon CityPaws. Dr. Decker and his staff were more than helpful. They were knowledgeable about the process and followed through with everything that we talked about. Very quick, efficient, and accountable. I wish I was still living in DC to continue to visit their office!
Aug 23, 2024 · Kristina PollockSERIOUSLY overpriced especially for surgery. I am talking about thousands of dollars. Also, difficult to get a visit for any reason for less than $400.00. I share this after 4 years of getting clubbed over the head because they were so close to my home. Found reasonable surgery at Spay Now (other procedures available) in Maryland and comfortable prices elsewhere in the District. Find another vet!!!
Dec 05, 2024 · S BThere are a few 1-star reviews (isolated incidences, it seems) that bring this overall rating way down!! Having 3 dogs and 2 cats, I frequently visit this place! It's been over 4 years now, and I have yet to have a bad experience! Thanks to a wonderful team!! I appreciate you!
Oct 04, 2024 · Callum GowarWe have been coming to Dr Bowman for over 10 years and would not trust any other vet in DC. Her bedside manner with our dog is so calming and gentle, which is perfect for our new puppy. He is still getting used to city living! We have been to both locations and never had an issue. Thanks, City Paws and Dr Bowman!
