City Way Animal Clinics - Fall Creek

Had our first appointment today! Everybody in the practice was extremely kind, professional, and helpful at every step of the way. Faith at the front desk got us checked in right away, no hassle at all. Our vet assistant Brittany always gave us a tiny knock at the door and opened it gently every time. It’s little things like that that they did very consistently that really gave me confidence about the care I was receiving. Brittany answered our questions clearly and completely, and the things that she thought best to leave up to Dr. Smith got communicated behind the scenes very clearly as well. When Dr. Smith saw us, she had a very clear idea of our cat’s needs, and communicated them patiently. She really listened to us. Our cat is a well-behaved but not well sensitized to needles. They used several methods to try and get him to the point of being docile to receive his vax, but they correctly identified that he was too scared and resistant to safely get the shots today. What I mean to say here is that the staff are in tune with your pets’ needs and prioritize a good relationship with your pets. Clearly staffed by passionate, knowledgeable, and professional animal lovers. 10/10 would recommend.

I really like Dr. N and the vet techs at the Fall Creek location! Don't go to Dr. Smith at Fall Creek-she cared more about getting off work/rushing the appointment than my dog's illness. Also, the Irvington location does a great job grooming my golden :)

The staff at City Way Fall Creek has been an absolute blessing to me and my pets since moving to Indianapolis in 2021. Despite having two very difficult pups, they have treated us with love and the utmost care. Through treating my senior dog Peyton through laser therapy, diet issues, mobility issues, surgeries, and so much more, they were knowledgeable, helpful, and so very supportive. They never made me feel like a bother when I would ask what I’m sure felt like a million questions and when choosing treatment options, I never felt pressured to just go with the most expensive option or to do things that weren’t necessary. When we began to discuss helping him cross the rainbow bridge, they provided information, resources, and support but never pressure. When the time finally did come, Dr. Smith and “Aunt” Susan came to our home, explained the process, and let us determine the timeline, giving us all the time we wanted and needed both before and after he passed. I’m not sure I could have let anyone else take him away, but when I passed him in his blanket to Susan, I knew he was being passed to someone who also cared for and loved him. The compassion and caring that we received during that time will always stay in my heart and memory. When I adopted a new rescue pup, Max, there was no question that we would be returning to Dr. Smith and the City Way Fall Creek staff. Max has provided his own set of challenges with aggression and behavioral issues. But again, they are kind, patient, thorough, and caring in working with him and I always receive prompt and thorough follow up for any procedures or tests. Dr. Smith takes her time to make sure that my non-medical brain understands everything and clearly lays out any options, including potential costs, for moving forward. Overall, Dr. Smith and the staff have provided the best possible care to my pets. Despite there being many other options between my home on the southeast side of Indy and the clinic, it is undoubtedly worth the extra drive and time. The clinic is modern, clean, and bright and I trust Dr. Smith explicitly. I am so grateful for her, Susan, Brittany, Maria, Leslie, Amanda, and all of the staff who always have and continue to provide stellar care and service.

They got my sick dog in quickly even though she was a new patient. Very thorough, spent all the time needed to discuss and explain everything. Great front desk greetings and all around great staff. Kudos and big thank yous to Dr Smith, Amanda and Cassidy, but all staff was truly great to work with.

The team at Fall Creek Place is outstanding! We have had positive experiences with every tech that has ever helped care for our dog. At a recent annual checkup, Mary was kind and patient with our anxious dog, helping put him at ease during blood work and vaccinations. I can not say enough about the quality of care that Dr. Neyenhaus provides. She is thorough, knowledgeable, and compassionate. Her care and attention absolutely helped save our dog’s life when he experienced a medical emergency several years ago. You can trust that your pet will be well cared for here.
