Circle of Friends Veterinary

As of November 2024, they've moved! They're just down the street from their old location, in a plaza next to Ace Hardware. There's ample parking here, which was always an issue at their old location. I have mixed reviews about Circle of Friends. Most technicians, Dr. Yasso, and Dr. Connelly have been kind but the clinic is busy and they are often booked out for weeks in advance. I love Dr. Yasso and her work in the rescue community, their *usually* conservative treatment approach, and their pricing is more than fair. That said, I fear they are starting to get too busy. They did just add back Dr. Meinert but I didn't find her to be as personable as Dr. Y and C. Some of the newer techs aren't as friendly either. Our primary vet and a receptionist forgot I had put one of my dogs down even though it was done at their clinic just a month ago. At another visit, I brought one of my dogs in for a vaccine appointment with a technician but they trimmed her nails instead. Not only that, they nicked her, she was bleeding, and nobody told me. Callbacks regarding lab work usually take 1-2 weeks and sometimes multiple follow-ups from me. I mostly like it here and don't really want to leave. But some things are starting to add up...

I love everyone there including the front desk who are all very helpful and professional. My Vet Is Dr. MEINHART, She's fabulous. Spent a good amount of time during our appointment explaining every detail etc. My new Pet Izzy loved her too

I can't speak highly enough if the Circle of Friends crew! They are the most compassionate and friendly staff at a veterinary practice that I've experienced. All of the staff actually takes the time to get know your pets because they really care. Dr Yasso worked with us for months on the best treatement for our pointer, who was diagnosed with a malignant mass cell tumor. She supported us every step of the way and was open to any and all questions we had. She was also able to fit us in for many emergency visits, and best of all, she was supportive and comforting through the hard times. Also, shout out to Theodora and Gina for always bringing us joy, joking with us, and loving on our pups, Ruger and Whiskey!

It is the worst place where you can take your dog. The customer service is bad. They give you an appointment at a certain time of day and they attend you an hour later and badly. My dog didn't get better with the medicines they gave him so I found a better place. I recommend that you look for a better place.

Very friendly and compassionate staff. Dr Yasso is very knowledgeable. I'm glad they were here when it was time for my boy to cross over the Rainbow Bridge. 🌈
