Everyone is genuinely nice and helpful. I trust Dr. Conway, I believe she is thorough and knowledgeable. Also, she is empathetic and her compassion is evident during interactions. She took very good care of my little boy, Skipper, and me before and when he passed away. I will continue to bring my beloved pets to Lockhart to see her. I am grateful for their care.

I took my cat over here because she had gotten bit by a snake recently and the workers were great loved the customer service. They are straight up and don’t force you to take an expensive route if you don’t have that kind of money at the time. 10/10 experience very great

It is hard to assess whether or not these people are truly passionate about their animals. The receptionists do no justice in setting this image. By that, i mean a lady with black hair. I went there with a kitten who had something lodged in his mouth. I thought it might of been cat food. She tells me — “our emergency fee is 264.” — okay.. really i just want help with how i can help get this out of the babies mouth. Any advice? So she paged the vet and asked if i should be charged normal, urgent, or emergency fee to which the vet responded normal. She tells me it might be a bit and guides me back to a room. I ask “how long? If its going to be long ill just roll my dice and go to luling instead of waiting.” She responds — “i mean if you want. We charged you normal checkup fee, we cant say what chrisholm of luling will charge.” So im like, yeah, ill just go to luling. All i wanted advice or help with is how to get this out of my babies throat. I drive to luling, now mind you i have FANTASTIC experiences at Luling. I get there and the receptionist says they are booked but if i can come by during an open time she can get me in for 66.40. I say okay, but is it possible to purchase a syringe with some water in it to help get this down my babies throat? She says… uhh let me see. Soon after the vet comes out (hes a blonde guy, considerably tall) and has his vet assistant (also amazing person) hold up my kitten and checks his mouth. He shows me. Now what is that!?! He says its a bone. He takes my baby back and pulls it out. Hands me the little bone that was stuck in the kittens mouth and tells me if anything happens bring him back. It doesnt look like there was any damage at all so he should be okay. No charge. Now how many vets do that??? Not lockhart!!! If you want to support a vet, please support this guy. Hes amazing. Don’t take advantage of this guys kindness!! Next time i schedule my cats annual exam i will try and give this guy a hundred bucks. He is seriously passionate. Seriously engaged and informative. This guy deserves it. So yeah.. support the guy at Chrisholm vet of Luling. Another good one is Tickle-Blagg in San Marcos. They are far more passionate and that doesnt just include the vets, it includes the receptionists too. Tickle-Blaggs receptionists are probably the most friendly/welcoming/relaxed. Now i get services cant be free! But some of these places really understand that some things shouldnt be so unfairly priced over small bumps in the road. The guy at Luling understands this. He’s not there to gauge the money in your pockets, hes there to help your pet get the best treatment possible for the most reasonable price. Super considerate!!

I had a great experience with everyone at Chisolm Trail Vet. Thank Yall so much. From Isaac to the front desk. Yall were even kind enough to take meds to my daughter in her car, while she had her one-year-old with her. Much appreciated. I'll be bringing Apollo 🐶back here!!!

I understand companies need to make money. They also must have compassion and a heart. My family cat was severely injured and needed to be put to sleep. I live from paycheck to paycheck with my cat and dog get better fed than us. This clinic charges $250 for this. This is the worst moment for a business to be greedy.I am very disappointed and hurt at this point.
