Cherryville Animal Hospital is the best hands down! All staff are so helpful and polite. Had the pleasure of Ashleigh Carpenter assisting the Doctor today. Great pup service and so sweet. Doctors always listen to my concerns! They are a very busy practice because they are 10/10. Come as a client, leave as family! Wendell loves them! Thank you all and you will love them as well!

One customer review praises Cherryville Animal Hospital for having a helpful and polite staff. They specifically mentioned a positive experience with Ashleigh Carpenter assisting the doctor, noting great pup service and a sweet demeanor. This reviewer also appreciated that the doctors listen to their concerns and described the practice as very busy, attributing it to their high quality of service. They concluded by stating that clients come as customers and leave as family, expressing their pet Wendell's positive experience and recommending the hospital.

However, another review shares a contrasting experience. This customer rescued a dog and sought comprehensive testing at Cherryville Animal Hospital. They reported spending $350 and only being informed of ear mites, without a solution for treatment. Concerns about regurgitation and diarrhea were allegedly dismissed. Subsequent care at another veterinary practice revealed the dog had Giardia, hookworms, and severe ear infections, conditions that the second vet indicated should have been apparent during the initial visit. This reviewer also mentioned not receiving microchip information from Cherryville Animal Hospital and witnessing unprofessional behavior towards a customer at the front desk. This experience led them to switch to another vet.

Based on the available reviews, Cherryville Animal Hospital is described by one customer as having helpful and polite staff who listen to concerns, creating a welcoming environment where clients feel like family. However, another customer reported issues with diagnostic thoroughness, missed conditions, lack of follow-up on mentioned symptoms, and unprofessional conduct. It's important for potential clients to consider both perspectives when evaluating their options for veterinary care.

We encourage local users to contact Cherryville Animal Hospital at (704) 435-5475 or +1 704-435-5475 to inquire about their services and discuss their pet's specific needs. While one review suggests a positive and caring environment, another raises concerns about the comprehensiveness of care in certain situations.

I honestly have waited a long time to make this review because for months it’s been a sore subject. I rescued a dog in June of 2024. From the jump, I knew he was sickly but didn’t know to what extent. I asked them to run whatever tests possible to figure out what we could do to ensure he had a better start at his new life than he did prior. $350 for them to tell me he had ear mites and that was it, with no solution on how to clear them up. I had told them that the night prior he was regurgitating his food as well as had diarrhea multiple times, all of those concerns were put off. I decided for our boosters 3 or so weeks later that I was going to try another vet that I had another pet at. Come to find out he had been battling Giardia, still had ear mites, hookworms, and severe ear infections (worse than most in the office had ever seen). I asked if the level that everything was at could’ve happened between the previous vet visit and the one where it was figured out, and was told absolutely not. I should’ve known with previous not great experience at Cherryville Animal Hospital not to take my rescued boy in there, however it was the only vet that I could get a walk in at the day after I recused him. Not to mention, he was microchipped at CAH and I was not given any information on it and had to get our current vet to scan him to get the company name as well as his chip number so I could set it up fully. 9 months later and this entire situation makes my blood boil. My boy was suffering with multiple issues that could’ve easily been diagnosed, yet when I asked if we could get a sample for his fecal (it would’ve been easy, he was matted/pelted head to toe so there was ample amounts of samples caked on him or they could’ve just let me collect a sample while there like so many other vets do😃) and for them to throughly check his ears and help me know how to clear the mites, they shrugged me off. The positive of it all is that I was led to a much better vet with drs and techs that care about their clients. Also the lady at the front desk that was talking bad about a paying “customer,” wasn’t nice to witness either..

We have taken our 3 corgis here for years and love everyone, from the front desk, to the nurses, to the doctors. They ALL care so much about our babies and we know they are in the absolute best hands when we bring them in to Cherryville Animal Hospital. 🙏💖

Dr. Amanda and Ashleigh took such great care of my fur love. Everyone was so kind and friendly. Addressed the issue quickly and explained the current situation and how to handle it in the future. Also, addressed a few other concerns during the appointment and were so helpful throughout the whole process and willing to work with me and my fur love. So kind and descriptive. Got us in there and quickly considering how many people showed up in the morning. Such a great experience! My fur loves have found a new home for future needs.

My lovely mom took my two girls to the vet to updated on shots today. She said everyone loved how well mannered they were. The place is wonderful and most caring vet. They even made a post to prove how much they cared. So I took the time to make a review. Thank you so much again. ♥️♥️♥️♥️ me and my family take all of our fur baby’s here. Would recommend!
