I don’t usually write these. Unless I’m giving credit where due for a stellar experience, and let’s face it there are plenty of unhappy people filling in negative reviews all over Google to make themselves feel happy with no valid complaint Cherokee Animal Hospital saved my dog’s life. I don’t have kids. She’s my kid, and they treated us like family. Very professional and caring. I’ve had many experiences in medical offices but none with such a thorough concierge style of care They say paying it forward means giving without expectation and receiving with no obligation. They went the extra mile. I was distraught learning my dog needed emergency surgery, which they accommodated promptly, and as I went to leave around closing time my truck wouldn’t crank. Their tech came out and quickly got it running. They are all true animal people in there with big hearts. A prime example of why all of these businesses should be Veterinarian owned and operated. I will definitely be paying it forward

Feb 04, 2025 · Andrew ElmanAlways amazing service and love for our dog, Turner. Dr. Green and the staff are animal lovers and will do everything in their power to make your pet feel comfortable and taken care of. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a world class veterinarian.
Mar 08, 2025 · Greg SalemI was recommended to Cherokee Animal Hospital and I'm so glad I was! My dog is a senior dog and had to go under anesthesia for surgery. I was very worried and a nervous wreck. The employees there were so wonderful in making sure my nerves were put at ease and you could tell they genuinely cared about my dog. The staff is excellent and I will continue to take my dog there.
Mar 03, 2025 · leighann renzI can’t say enough about the care our dog Bentley received by Dr. Jenkins. Bentley was a senior dog with some serious medical conditions. Dr. Jenkins took a lot of time explaining all our options. We treated his conditions for some time, but unfortunately Bentley passed. The entire office was so supportive to us during this emotional time. We received the sweetest card with personalized notes from several vets and staff members which meant the world to us. I would highly recommend them to anyone.
Jan 15, 2025 · Jeannie MosierNew to the area, my dog and I were a little anxious for our first visit. The moment Dr. Bryant walked into the room, I knew we were in the right place. Dr. Bryant spent ample time with us putting all of our concerns at ease with her knowledge, kindness, and positive energy. I am thankful for a provider like Dr. Bryant and her team.
Dec 17, 2024 · Gen MyrandI have read some of the reviews and just want to start by saying that, while I understand that everyone's experience is different, any negative reviews I read appear unfounded. This place seems to go above and beyond. My 13 year old fur baby with dementia was seen at the clinic yesterday. Yes, on Saturday. They stayed late because he was a new patient. They closed at 12 and they were there well past that examining and making a treatment plan for him. They did not stop me from asking any questions. They encouraged me to. They spent significant time in the room with us and addressed all of my concerns without separate appointments. My friend also takes their pup here and I witnessed firsthand that they called in medication for her and had it ready the same day due to fireworks coming up. No extra fees were involved. Just purchase of the meds. Their office visit price is extremely affordable. They do run late occasionally from emergencies coming in or taking extra time with patients, but wouldn't you want that same care for your pet? I only get 1 day off per week and understood needing to wait a few minutes. I expressed the desire for an appointment in an exam room from the very beginning, though I understand the efficiency of the curbside service, and I never once met resistance. The staff got the records early and the vet reviewed them prior to our appointment. Everyone was extremely kind and accommodating. They even explained surgery procedures to me, should it come to that, and some associated costs ahead of time. They take extra steps to ensure the safety of the sedated animal. They informed me that surgery prices can be more than other animal hospitals. My last animal hospital doesn't even do the surgery that we were discussing. I would happily pay extra, and no...I don't have it like that, but to ensure the well being and comfort of my pet...absolutely. Extra treatment options cost everyone extra, including the hospital. The fact that he could be seen by the people he will be used to is reason enough for me. Every member of the staff took time to acknowledge my pup, pet him, tell him how cute he is, and made us feel extremely comfortable. Winston's exam room had a window in it, which you can see for yourself...he settled right down and enjoyed looking outside while we waited. I've tried multiple vet offices in the last 2 years due to moving. I wanted the best one for him. I'm certain that I found it. Please consider them and the fact that if you are delayed in getting seen...maybe they are putting a pet to sleep (imagine the pain they go through as well)...maybe they are saving a pet's life and then have to smile and walk into your room like nothing happened after fighting to bring them back...maybe they just don't want to turn people away. I got turned away at a few offices who were full and couldn't accept new patients. I'm so glad they made space for us. I'm an EMT and I now work at a clinic (for humans). All of their responses to any previous negative reviews are valid. Things happen that are out of our control and it may impact others. Trust that isn't the plan at my clinic and I'm sure it isn't at theirs either. If you don't care enough about your pet to make time for their visit or pay for good care, pick another place. They put good care first and I'm grateful. I usually put my pet's care on my credit cards and work myself silly to pay them off, but my babies are worth it to me. I didn't see a single fee that was exorbitant. I was able to use my debit card for once and I've paid way more for less. Please, consider this vet clinic. Read all the positive reviews too. A lot of times we see 4.whatever stars and go straight to see what's negative. I don't think you will be disappointed here or find that your experiences are negative. I couldn't say more good things about the front desk, techs, nurses, and doctors. I couldn't say more good things about their communication, care, and love for animals. Thank you all at Cherokee Animal Hospital for your help and giving us peace of mind. - Christy and Winston.
