Chelmsford Animal Hospital is described as a state-of-the-art veterinary facility that prioritizes cleanliness, comfort, and efficiency. The availability of services like an online pharmacy and acceptance of credit cards further contribute to the convenience and modern feel of the establishment.
Chelmsford Animal Hospital provides a wide range of services, encompassing general wellness, diagnostic capabilities, surgical interventions, and specialized therapies. Their core services include:
- General Wellness and Preventive Care: This is a cornerstone of their practice, with a strong emphasis on annual wellness exams, vaccinations, and microchipping. They stress the importance of preventive care in protecting pets against harmful diseases and ensuring a long, healthy life.
- Dentistry: Annual dental exams and cleanings are recommended to protect pets from potential health problems and maintain oral hygiene.
- Diet & Nutrition: Guidance on proper diet and nutrition is offered to address allergies, fight disease, maintain proper weight, and promote overall well-being.
- Parasite Control: Year-round prevention strategies are provided for common parasites such as fleas, ticks, heartworm, roundworm, and hookworm, which can be detrimental to a pet's health.
- Diagnostic Services: The hospital offers advanced imaging services, including radiology (X-rays) and diagnostic ultrasounds, which are highly useful tools for evaluating heart conditions, internal organs, cysts, and tumors. In-house laboratory services allow for quick and accurate diagnostic testing to identify problems and initiate appropriate treatment.
- Surgery Services: They perform various soft tissue surgeries for a number of medical reasons. Spaying and neutering are also offered, which can contribute to a pet's longer, healthier life and help control pet overpopulation.
- Holistic & Therapy Services: Laser therapy is available as a surgery-free, drug-free, noninvasive treatment to reduce pain, inflammation, and speed up the healing process for a range of acute and chronic conditions, including post-surgical pain.

Apr 26, 2025 · Melissa N.I bring both of my cats here, my 7 pound baby void Artemis and my 18 pound male tabby chungus Bubba. Impeccable service every time, the staff clearly cares about animals.
Apr 15, 2025 · Patrick SullivanThis Vet hospital is simply great. From the Doctors, the techs, to the front desk staff. We're always prioritized and treated with care. We brought our older dog here once we transferred from another vet- her cancer unfortunately came back and Dr. Lovely has treated her with kindness and compassion and has given her the best treatment possible, keeping her comfortable and giving us more time with her. We've brought our new puppy there, and they've treated her equally as great. Anytime there has been issues, Dr. Lovely takes the time to call me and to talk through what's going on. She ALWAYS makes the time to answer all of my questions, and always makes sure I understand. I never end a phone call or leave a vet visit with questions! I just continue to be impressed by Dr. Lovely and the staff. I feel incredibly lucky to have found such an amazing vet - and we'll be sticking with her for all of our pets.
